I still can't get my head around AS being so sure about finance...he has to know a deal with upfront payments or AA deal is in the can. He said AVA6000 is the key and will unlock the pipeline...so is finance predicated on FDA Approval of 6000 and/or 3996. I think we might be under-estimating the significance of FDA approval.

I taotally agree and another is an Alliance Agreement. Avacta continues with all the R&D plus Patents etc and the other party does the manufacturing and selling. Avacta retains the IP and gets a cut of profits or a royality on sales.

They work well for companies wishing to maintain IP control and who don't have the manufacturing/sales but do have the knowledge and R&D base. A fixed term is often applicable too.

We went into commercialisation mode last year and as Avacta said in the CBO appointment RNS:

"These emerging data give us, for the first time, the opportunity to accelerate ongoing discussions as well as to generate new opportunities through our business development activities aimed at delivering licensing opportunities for the pre|CISIONTM and Affimer® platforms."

It is only now with the accumulation of data Avacta has been in a position to move ongoing discussions on. I take it from the above statement the interest is there but quite rightly whoever it may be wants to see data, data and prossibly more data. As I have said before, who really wanted to move to a 2 week dosing? And again as I have said and clearly stated by Avacta time and time again they are looking for licencing deals and I suspect they have and are targetting the likes of Dox manufacturers to perhaps form a joint venture to commercialise AVA6000.

There is also lots of other news we could receive before hand too...the first might just be on 22 January announcing the next Qrtly repayment and again if you check the daily SP history there does seem to be a bit of SP downward movement leading up to said repayment/share issue. The lower the SP the more shares they get....

Now do some search re Avactas connection with Tufts and you should get the answers.

Avacta is currently doing SAFETY trials. They were not looking to prove EFFICACY. However, to everyone's surprise they have seen some efficacy and as a result the Trial has been updated and a new 2 weekly dose trail brought in.

Now the markets being the markets they just see the words Phase 1 Trials (safety)... no biggie they say..let's wait until Avacta start showing some Phase 2 (efficacy) results.

Now BP are a pretty dumb...they work on herd mentality...they all pile into the next big thing...however, someone has to start the ball rolling when it comes to the next big thing. Our day will come and it won't necessarily be a household name who takes the lead of our Affimer tech or PreCision. I think we will see far more Licencing deals before we see a T/O. I also think we will possibly see a RTO to get us a US Listing before we see a T/O too. A licencing deal with a producer of Dox is the obvious first one to be had and I think Avacta have mentioned this as a target.

QUESTION: Why did they withhold the amount of funding? Is it possible the Avacta, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, GenScript ProBio partnership is going to take AVA6000 forward. Is this why AS is so confident about financing and GenScript brings manufacturing to the table. Perhaps commitments have already been made/are actually in place and that’s why they haven’t disclosed the detail.

AffyXell is a joint venture established in January 2020.

AVA6000 is a cell therapy.

Cancer is an immune-mediated disease. Notes: Immune system cells participate in all stages of tumorigenesis and immunosurveillance. For instance, the inflammatory microenvironment contributes to tumor initiation through mutations, genomic instability, and epigenetic modifications.

Now…based on what I have just said, read the above two RNS’s again with a different set of goggles on. Have we actually been told what might be down the tracks in a very carefully scripted manner as to not give the game away but to satisfy the market rule makers that shareholder have been informed therefore more detail are not necessary just yet.
