Roundhowe - it’s been 6 months and they haven’t reprogrammed the Covid LFT, which nobody wants. It isn’t an easily reprogrammed platform. AffiDX also relies on mAbs. Affimers are a red herring.

The books for the Dx division are very poor. ROI is nonexistent. Again, I would question who would invest in a company with these numbers and history. The Dx division at Wetherby have been employed for a while now. The alternative LFT’s have been discussed as ‘coming soon’ for over 2 years. It’s not worth following.

The FAP tech in AVA is our ticket to success. If it works we’re off to the races. With bells on.

Monty - Read into AS’s statements at YOUR own risk. Go back and read the reports/presentations re the LFT. Check how bullish they are in the face of HMG’s assault. They even dropped in a ‘still in talks with PHE’ when they clearly knew it would amount to nothing.

HMG did nothing to support a UK Dx industry. It was a shambles. Avacta, on many levels mirrored said shambles in their delivery of diagnostic products.

We had multiple products in the pipeline 2 years ago. None have materialised. Is HMG still turning the screw on that VitD spit stick?

Ignore that division entirely. And filter AS’s rampy predictions.

Just another reason to celebrate if our mid year (that’s now Q3/4 if you look on Twitter) RNS is positive. They’ll be no reason to be hopeful of any useful discussion on the board as it’ll be done. It’ll be nice to have a face to face with a few over a beer. It’s been a long slog.

I would add that if data from the trial contains extraordinary biopsy support, it’ll pave the way to healthy valuations quicker than we think. £20 won’t necessarily be 5 years away. A lot to go right, and Avacta to become more mature. They’re still playing at it in terms of communication and investor relations.

They own 100% of a drug that is priced at circa 10-15% royalty. A drug we don’t yet know works. Mr R doesn’t need corrected.
