This price point is lower than I’d expected from the outset. Think of it this way; sufferers will be spending way more than £1.50/day on supps/products that are only abating symptoms so far.

£1.50/day for a literally life changing product. No brainer.

Frustration lies in the quality of our product vs substantial orders. It’s why Medusa intrigue me so much. The marketing opportunities are immense once HUA is communicated.

AquaeSulis01 - We’re not a charity. It’s a product that has a price point, that works, and will be bought up by sufferers. The majority viewing it as a small price to pay. And it is, relatively - as I’ve suggested.

£1.50/day to resolve/nullify years of discomfort. It could be life changing for some. All for the price of a rubbish brew? What a statement to make.

Maltby - I’m with you, they should. It’s super important. I’m more excited about this than any of the regulatory updates re the LFD. They were all a given - this is proper news.

The same group have published comparative studies of all major LFT’s on the market, and they’re all pretty poor. At least markedly worse than their published validation data.

Pigster - As I mentioned, it’s basis of challenge is on the effectiveness of their performance, i.e reducing transmission. Switch AffiDX for Innova, and that argument can’t* be made.

Nothing new. Quite boring really, but highlights that they are ruling out it’s use based on effectiveness to reduce transmission, not LFT’s in general.

“We believe that the use of LFD testing for SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics in the UK (and globally) is a strategy which has risks that outweigh any potential benefits. Based on the data presented here, it is no surprise that the US FDA has issued a Class I recall for the Innova kit, citing concerns over the performance of the device. Innova has been issued with a warning letter by the FDA relating to misleading data in the validation of the kit. Despite this, the device remains approved for use in the UK (by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency).”
