Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
The directors, collectively, the last major purchase I'd say.
Nookie, if you're invested then you'll know (or should) that proving effectiveness at scale (and for specific brines) is the purpose of the current phase of development for this specific DLE technology - so no, of course there isn't any proof (in the public domain) yet !
But positive results are anticpated and from apparent preparatory measures being taken by ChemX also expected (or perhaps already confirmed) by them too.
Dutch, all materials are recoverable - DLE can help with that too.
I agree batteries are unlikely to be powering shipping and large aircraft - at least while the batteries are bulky and heavy.
But, from your link...
Toyota is yet to publicly announce plans for its future hydrogen-powered model range, with Mr Sato telling Automotive News “we don't have a very specific business goal at this time.”
Whilst,
It plans to sell 3.5 million battery-powered vehicles worldwide in 2030, with 12 new models to be launched before the end of the decade.
Therefore, that article undertones that EVs have a long way to go before they will get completely replaced by another tech.
And batteries are not just used in transport - solar storage to even it demand and cover the dark hours will create a huge demand.
Possibly of course MrT.
But that 3.5m is long spent and now all we have is a residual 10% which is worth nothing unless and until some value can be attached to it... which will require another drill. And we are not in driving seat.
If they we can fund our share by giving away a chunk of that 10% great, but I hope not by further dilution, i.e. eating into the lithium pie for another wild cat gamble.
I doubt anything will happen with Sasanof in the short-term. And if this lithium project works out for CLON then I can see it pivoting away from oil and gas. They could leave that to Petrel.
It's just the lull before the storm and impatient money moving on. And I suppose most folk who want in at this stage are already in.
Now awaiting test results and news of other deals.
And there's always Ghana and Chad that might pop up - DH was in Botswana with BOD recently, I wonder if he called at Chad and Ghana on the way back.
Sasanof appears dead, DH no longer mentioning it anyway.
Lostsoul... you're a bit behind...
"28 March 2023.... Clontarf Energy plc (AIM: CLON) is pleased to announce that it has elected to proceed with the NEXT-ChemX Bolivian joint venture, and therefore has executed the formal Contractual Partnership Agreement with NEXT-ChemX Corporation ("NEXT-ChemX"), which supersedes the 'Heads of Agreement' announced on 15 February 2023."
I don't think they are moving in there - it's just the registered office, probably where the accountants are located. 928 other businesses 'located' there. Loads of space still to rent as serviced offices.
Interesting but only by coincidence of timing I suspect.
BTW The building was sold earlier this year to a high net worth individual ! Make of that what you will.
Now, if we were opening an office in Bolivia or other country, that would be interesting.
I see what you mean.
But maybe sold, not necessarily for cash, but for similar value.
The agreement was '...at the next completed equity raise' so I believe that means it has to be part of this raise - but could be read as meaning, at its completion, so maybe to follow immediately.
Still, it's a sure sign that things are progressing.
Regarding the 500k already raised, I would say it's CLON's shares due to this this...
"As part of the transaction, NEXT-ChemX will issue to Clontarf the number of fully paid restricted shares of common stock of NEXT-ChemX representing a US$500,000 value, with the exact number of shares being calculated using the issuance price fixed at the next completed equity raising that is closed and reported to the SEC by NEXT-ChemX. Such shares shall be issued at the closing of the next equity raising carried out by NEXT-ChemX."
