We bought a 10% share, but had to fund 20% of the drill.
Pre drill that was said to be $4m us.

£3.5m before expenses. After paying $4m us dollars, doubtful there's that much left. Unless they got a cracking exchange rate and bargain fund raising fee.

That's not the first time shares in a company under his directorship, that he thought would be held, were sold without his knowledge ! Only last time it was a clear contract beach, this time it's just an apparent lack of imagination.

CLON bought a 10% slice from WD. So it is WD's bank account that is better off, not WD (519P) - I believe CLON funded 20% of the cost for their 10%, so it was a great deal for WD.

The purchase was funded by shares so Western Gas has/had an interest in CLON. There is a view that these might have already been sold on the open market.

As very clearly stated, CLON bought 10% of Western Gas (519P) pty ltd, the holding company of the sasanof prospect. That's it. So unless that company does something else, and assuming CLON can fund its share, then it's over.

Time to shake it all about.

Perhaps sometime with access to the data could address whether it is feasible for the seller to have finished. Taking different scenarios, i.e. sets of assumptions.

Agreed, but it would be good to bag this one too, I'm glad we are still in with a shout albeit no longer exclusive.

It certainly is Julian. Of course the deadline is to finalise discussions, not necessarily to announce it, so we could hear anytime this week. And James is at Mining Indaba today. I suppose it's done, one way or another, all bar penning the announcement.

Thanks Pauly... very pertinent and interesting. Powerfully supporting progress towards resolution - perhaps this is indeed what is behind the recent rises. It is the most logical given PET showing similar movements, and the director buying. Yes, CLON still have an interesting Aussie link, but Ghana could be off the blocks anytime requiring not much than a signature.

I seriously doubt that - it's already sewn up and why would they possibly need us. The most we could get out of that is a small service contract, but even that is a stretch. No asset there for us.

Way more buys than sells, this should not be down - it should be massively up.

If it was Ghana I'd expect to see more from CLON.

I wouldn't call it as being to the wire yet... the deadline of Tuesday 10th May seems a strange date to pick - possibly aligned to some key date. Previous extensions have been to the end of a month. But there's still plenty of time.

If we get to Friday the 6th without news then that's getting to the wire. But I reckon it's entirely possible that we won't hear until the 10th or even a few days after to give them time to agree the statement after agreeing a deal.

Huge drop on very low volume. But then Monday's rise was also huge relative to volume. MMs ****ing about !
