TR, I know I’m repeating myself, I think arcm are linking the short to SL equity raise. Hopefully they’ll get burnt.

Maybe they see an equity raise for SL & consequently shorting us. If they are privy to a fund raise i would think what they are doing is illegal.

Mrd, this market is a tough mistress, my advice is switch off, time is a great healer & before you know it you’ll be in the blue again. With a bit of luck opec will also tighten further which will help everyone in the oil sector.

I agree Geo, verse other oilies TLW well pricey with a p/e of 28. PMO is 8 & ENQ 3. I wouldn’t look at it until it hits sub £1 & stays there for a while.

Dark night, ok the sp has kicked up a bit today, but it doesn’t follow their will be a big update on WW on Monday. Just saying as building expectations for Monday could leave some unhappy if nothing happens. When it comes it comes & I am sure it’ll be worth the wait.

Unfortunately Mrd, TLW will need to get much cheaper before it comes up on anyone’s radar. To be honest I could never understand why its sp traded at such a premium to other oilies, maybe reality has caught up with it. Best to steer clear imo. Your not invested in it are you ?

No doubt shale has been & will continue to keep a lid of sorts on crude prices, but can’t see KSA opening the taps with aramco ipo. Etc & budgeting needs for higher prices. When the KSA opened the taps last time it didn’t end well for them. Didn’t Einstein say something about repeating the same thing, but expecting a different outcome is madness. I guess the Saudi”s don’t need that explaining to them.

Antigua, another good article over on Bloomberg re shalers, reading between the lines they are pretty much up a creek without that paddle. Irregardless of Trump macro is improving for oilies.

No evidence to base this on, but I feel crude is strengthening, higher lows etc. No doubt the oracle DBNO will call me wrong, however I’m quiet quietly confident the trend has turned for anyone long. Next 6 months will be interesting for all the right reasons.

AD, wasn’t a fundamental reason for drilling WD to find water contact, as required by the oga? From what I understand water contact would help to define reservoir size etc. Therefore an oil discovery at WD was not the driver, it was an oga requirement. Given this its a surprise the sp took a big dive on WD dry news, clearly pi’s saw the news differently or were unaware of the wider picture. I also believe they drilled through a solid section, which didn’t help the oil cause., sometime ago Biffa tried to put me straight on that fact, but that’s what I’ve been told & have absolutely no reason to question the authenticity.
