Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Nice size Director deal just gone through on this... I topped up a few weeks ago and just did again.
Great price to get in at, strong balance sheet, and above all... the FUTURE, you'll be kicking yourself in 10 years that you didn't get in at 50p.
Hopped out of these a good while back with a 10% profit, got a good feeling now is the time to hop back in on a grand scale.... the future is bright and the cash is there.
Anyone got the story about this, I'm not ****ed off about selling the other day now!
Some hefty buys 17k -18k in sequence.
...... how wrong I was. Should have hold another day.
Got a 60% profit in there so time to duck out on top. Cheers DSGI you've done me proud even though I think your shops are **** and your staff are as thick as two short planks.
Your First 2 Shares Of The Next Bull Market 28/04/2009: Update To everyone that read my recent e-mail, welcome to Champion Shares and thank you for joining the service. As I wrote to you, I can't help but be excited during times like these. The market has been thumped by the credit crunch and, in my opinion, has left many good businesses selling at cheap prices. By joining Champion Shares now, I hope you'll learn, enjoy -- and prosper! -- from any forthcoming recovery. Now to those two top recommendations for 2009 and beyond. The identity of the Specialist Fund Manager is Ashmore (LSE: ASHM) and the name of the Software & Data Provider is Dealogic (LSE: DL.). The Champion Shares Company Directory will get you up to speed with both tips. It archives all my commentary on all portfolio members -- past and present -- so you can read everything about the two selections before you invest.
A big buy or two coming in this week. Keep your eyes on it!
Can't believe I missed this one, caught it on a little dip at 156 and looks like its going to tick along nicely.
130 today, DL. is slowly moving up, lots of ****y small buys but steady. With its balance sheet cash rich and lack of debt I'd put this at a buy up until 150p and hold for about 6 months. Dealogic's latest results confirmed revenue from its M&A league tables and other City data had improved by 9% during 2008 and now represented almost 60% of the top line. However, sales at Dealogic's other activity -- running systems that handle flotations -- plunged 29% and caused the group as a whole to report a 40% earnings drop and a 43% cut to the dividend. The disappointing performance has caused this AIM share to retreat to 87.5p, well below the 170p, 182.5p and 140p seen at the time of my previous recommendations in 2007 and 2008. Having been able to maintain profits throughout the 2001-02 bear market, I plainly overestimated how Dealogic would cope with the credit crash.
I've been in Deallogic for a good while now, always seemed a sound investment, good balance sheet, good management, but didn't expect the jump this week, anyone want to enlighten me?
While everyones getting sucked into the usual HBOS/LLOY/BARC and todays ORE mania I've been having a sniff around. As I've said a few times, everything I buy will be put away for 5 years when I retire, so although these quick day jumps make me happier than a Hull supporter there are some other Gems I thought I'd share. The first is Ashmore, they look to be taking advantage of market weakness and at my 129p buy last week have already started to rebound nicely. If your in for 6-12 months + this ones as safe as they get.
Just took a dip as well, nice buy price that I might have a little dig.
A share consolidation is the opposite of a share split. Each shareholder's shares are replaced with a smaller number of shares with a higher par value. If a shareholder has a 1,000 shares with a par value of 10p, then after a 1 for 2 consolidation the shareholder will have 500 shares with a par value of 20p. I have bought today at 1,2p I did this deliberately as a pure punt. Come monday, my shares will be worth 0.2p less than now............the punt is that having re-financed the company.............MAYBE they will go up! Maybe they won't. That's why the game is fun!!!!
Whats the deal with this now, how long before it levels out and resets?
