Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This will hit a few 100 million market cap when the £1bn plus contracts are underway in a few years or so. If you have money that you can leave for years it’s an unbelievable opportunity now. Pre fss contract was a gamble yes but now with the investment into making the shipyards the best in the uk, backing from the government and mod it’s a huge opportunity I think
The main fetch areas that are able to focus migration towards each of the main prospects are calculated as having potentially generated oil within the following volumetric ranges; Alpha Prospect fetch area - ca. 45 to 79 billion barrels ("bbls") oil, Gamma Prospect fetch area - ca. 15 to 23 billion bbls oil.
Them figures look like a GIANT find to me
The way I see it (I may be wrong) but I’ve seen it many times. Placing shares come on 12th June then a churn for a week or two then up she goes unless positive news alongside and up she goes…. Or there she blows !!
I noted MB said he thought the due diligence LCM have to do from the third parties is expected to be sorted before 30th June deadline. He also Keeps mentioning running parallel we are in advanced talks also with a JV/Partner and discussions hopefully with the governments in India must be happening. A resolution could be announced in the coming weeks. I feel its being hinted at. I wonder if an announcement will be made on both fronts. PAT have certainly a good hand of cards in this game of poker you would think.
A few scenarios could happen and announced.
1. LCM duel diligence over the claim accepted / or not? But the law change in India states if companies have had PLs rejected that a claim can be dated back to then and the value of the asset and compensation substantial.
The government knows this and if they know that PAT have a strong case then
2. The reason for the ongoing advanced talks with a JV partner could be that talks between PAT and the governments have been positive in a resolution and hopefully moving the Bhukia project forward before it gets to the stage of the claim being made.
We seem to be at trigger point in India.
We will find out in the coming weeks
Been following Pat for a long time. Made a bob or two on the big rise to 40p a few years ago (what happened to St tropez?) and I’ve kept an eye in on developments mainly relating to Bhukia. I’ve jumped back in today also on the back of MBs interview.
If we get big news from India we all know how big the resource is and positive good news would be transformational so I got back in just over 6p as I missed the news from midday. That could end up still being a bargain re entry
Can’t see there’s anyone in a right mind who would of stayed the course throughout and I’m sure there isn’t one investor who has . All about timing and for me if you buy in now and wait for financing announcement you will be quids in
Panda. I’m not invested but Shaun seems to be excited.
Shaun Bunn, Managing Director, said: "We are absolutely thrilled with the results of our maiden drilling campaign. Our research over the past year pointed to the presence of a newly recognized giant copper mineral system at Pitfield, in itself no minor feat, however the results announced today add a whole new dimension to this globally important asset - the discovery of titanium rich minerals in my view tells us we have a "Land of Giants" to explore. The scale, strength and consistency of the mineralised system cannot be overemphasised given that the drill holes were spaced several hundreds of metres to tens of kilometres apart, and that 53% of all samples collected contain an average 5.12% TiO2, and 60% were anomalous in copper.
"Clearly more work is required, not least because 98% of the mineralised system is still to be drilled and evidently we tagged an enormous, titanium rich part of the system. Based on the scale of this find, Pitfield has the potential to be one of the largest primary titanium sources discovered globally
If there’s no news and only a handful of trades per day then yes definitely this could settle around 5p but with good newsflow it could bounce double figures
I didn’t have time to study the RNS this morning. I know good grade copper results and I was more focused on that so the Titanium find was something unexpected. After some research I believe the amounts of Titanium dioxide look to be of massive commercial value. Current market price is $4k dollar per tonne.
I can see a major drilling campaign will get underway at Pitfield. I was taken a back a bit this morning as I expected to see better copper grades but they might come when drilling this huge area. The titanium alone looks an incredible find. Average 5% tio2 in 50% of the holes says to me there is huge amounts there. I didn’t have enough information or time to make the decision to buy in this morning off the back of the RNS.
If I was a holder though I’d be very happy & I will look forward to becoming a holder in the not so distant future as I think this share potentially is very undervalued now.
I’m just going to have to judge my buy in point.
Had my eye on eee for months and nearly bought in pre drill last week. After seeing the drill results this morning with copper results I left it and didn’t buy in. Was unsure on the news but the board seemed very optimistic. Well done to the longterm holders and those that jumped in around 2.2p this morning.
