Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
$42m profit. increasing production. reduced costs, rising V price and SP still near its year low. The company is doing nothing wrong and everything right.
conclusion; AIM is a squalid cesspit of ne'erdowells and scumbags. Quicker we get out of AIM the quicker we shall see fair value for our company.
May just need an extra day to count all the money ;)
Money where the mouth is time.
10 days ago I said that we wouldn’t get an RNS until this week. We had no news last week so I am now confident that we shall have news this week . BMN is most likely but would love some news on BE.
Kudos to you Bella. Great find.
@VV,
Sorry if I misinterpreted your post. BMN is such an amazing company, with such huge potential, a takeover at less than fair value is the most serious threat IMHO. Now if BMN were able to provide battery storage to Acacia’s operations, that would be a tremendous boost to our journey and share price. Agreed, Mark could be a useful friend to have in a very high place!
@VV. large war chest is all well and good but do we want to encourage a takeover at our ludicrous valuation?. Now if acacia offered £1 a share how many takers would there be?
Future for vanadium is very strong. No doubt that we will need more to make lighter steels and when vrfb storage takes off , MN sees 10 fold increase. Is is all well and good so long as we get paid in US$? If we get a decent slice of eskom, would we be paid in Rand? If so we would get paid lots in a devalued currency. Would we be better getting sales outside of SA? Long and strong as ever.
Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think we will get RNS this week or next. They seem to come in 3s and the quarter update won’t land for another fortnight.
Meantime, sit tight, go for a walk, take up painting or do something that takes yo7 away from the screen. All LTH here know that good news is around the corner and that the price will tick up nicely when the news arrives. I think that most holders see this as a long term project with 10+ bagger potential. Driving yourselves mad every day seems pointless. Everything come to he (or she) who waits. GLA
I seem to recall that we average 3 RNS per month. There is a lot of news to come and expect plenty of it to land soon.
IMHO BE news will be the real driver here. Eskom news should see some fireworks. The pressure on the government can only last so long.
Numpty,
Did you get chance to assess whether the crow was FRCS. if it was then your nerve problem may be sorted.
Seriously though, what are the risks if you do nothing v the risks of surgery. If it were me I would leave it, but I am a coward and always fearful of hospital infections etc. Whatever you decide, best wishes ad good luck. BB
Battery power for full propulsion of ships is one thing, which is a way away. However these vessels have various generators for running their auxiliary systems. These could all be replaced with battery storage and renewable energy systems. Maersk are trialling a battery for just this application by installing a 600KWH system in one of their 50 000 tonne fleet. Assuming 20wh/kg a 30 tonne battery would do the trick. No risk of fires etc. Just a thought.
This is an interesting article. Could vrfb technology be what these people are looking for.?

Im 51 now and wish to retire at 55. £3 would give me £1M pension pot with Mrs Bear on something similar. That will do very nicely. Good luck all.
#Nice to see blue- but for how long though??!
Couple of years should do it
I’m sure that Izal was just bleached empty crisp packets.
Seem to recall, the last time we had a strong finish, we had RNS the next day. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
atm rns out today. surely Mokopane completion very soon. hold onto your bushy shares, they are like Willy Wonka golden tickets.
Love it Numpty, keep it coming.
Been here for about 16 months now with average price of 30p. Underwater but not in the slightest bit worried. Looking for £3 by the time I’m 55 (4 years away). Hold 450k in sip and isas.
Well I’m 347 but happy to wait a while expert. Meantime, why don’t ask Santa for a new abacus for Christmas, yours is clearly broken.
