So now we have the perverse situation where IES has bigger Mcap than BMN. FFS when will the market wake up to this criminal undervaluation
Latest RNS is very solid, well done. FM states that we should hit lower end of production estimates for year 2020. V prices are little different from a year ago. Covid has messed many things up, but not bushveld. Our SP pre covid was 22p. Can anyone explain how the current SP makes any sense?
We sell lots of vanadium to whoever does win it.
Libero,
Agree that 16p may well be tested today. If we can close above 16p today or tomorrow, the 20p next week should be a walk in the park. If we close above 16p today, then 20p might be ours tomorrow.
£1 in January? Seems far fetched, but good news from BE could well see us there.
Good luck, buckle up and enjoy the ride.
Cannot imagine a better long term hold. I think within two years this company will revolutionise the global energy sector and make current holders VERY wealthy, IF THEY HOLD.
Most regulars here are well versed in bushveld very strong fundamentals wrt valuation. We are valued at about NAV with no value added for recent activities, lemur, IES holding etc etc. Vanadium price is a little subdued because of the pandemic, we all know that as the world recovers, infrastructure projects will drive economic recoveries around the world. Vanadium will be key to that. These factors will be dwarfed by the 1st mover advantage we have in the green revolution that is unfolded. The story is far better explained by Alfacomp et al On this BB and the bushveld perspective. Using fundamentals we are grossly undervalued.
Of course some investors like to look at the odd chart for their guidance. I am one. Daily time frame chart analysis shows next resistance to be 16p and 23 thereafter. Most other indicators are positive. So which ever method you use, charting or fundamentals, this is an absolute screaming buy.
Yet again, we have a measured rise on very good volumes. I said it on Monday and I’ll say it again. Rising price on strong volume is a very bullish indicator. Our news flow over the past few months has been superb with more to follow.
Better yet would be some BE contract wins, ESKOM or otherwise. Certainly hope this signifies a reversal which leads to a breakout beyond 16p. If it does then 19.5p would be quickly tested. Beyond that 22p . Makes 25+ by year end seem quite plausible.
Looking for 6 bagger from there within 2 years.
Moving up on big volume. .......VERY bullish sign. We’ve been pegged back for a long time. Cross check doors, we are cleared for take off.
@Jog.
dont forget we also owm 8% of invinity so another 2.5% there.
@bassguy.
No flames from me. I totally agree. Bushveld is owned by the shareholders. Not just this BB and not just by the BOD. I seem to recall a comment in an RNS a while ago which mentioned that we were looking at dozens of non Eskom deals. Any updates. None.
So quick back of a fag packet calculation looks to me like approx $35m operating profit for the year (£27m) Mcap of less than 5 that.
If we are only a junior miner with zero assets and no interest in the next big energy revolution. that would be a joke.
We have lots of assets and are a key player in said energy revolution which makes our SP insane.
FM if you are reading this, I might remind you that the directors responsibility is to protect and maximise shareholder returns. The share price stinks and we need some action.
@Faramog,
Apart from homes under the hammer, nothing in particular, It is just about the time that the MMs start to have to behave a little better. Yesterday evening saw a false rise at close of play to give the impression of a fall the following day (today). It just seems to take a few hours before the market settles down when this happens.
Remember the staged drop 1st thing was manufactured yesterday evening by the tarquins. We will know more by 11am.
Do not want To be out of this . News to land soon.
BP has announced awful but unsurprising results. They have halved their dividend and committed to reducing fossil fuel business by 40% in 10 years.
I wonder whether they would be willing get a slice of the renewables market by paying £2 per share for Bushveld.
Only partly tongue in cheek.
20% is more of a loud fart. Now 40% would count as a boom in my books. 18p by Friday anyone?
Eskom news and today's RNS could really screw about with algorithm trading (oh dear, my heart bleeds). could well see a big jump in the next few days.
Great sleuthing Libero.
We are all getting excited about winning a contract to supply batteries, but the really smart thing is that even if we don’t get a contract for the battery, we will very likely supply the vanadium that goes in it. I cannot see any way in which we cannot benefit. Good times are coming.
If bushveld decline is down to vanadium price, why has largo recovered to to pre covid levels? I believe that more is at play. Good news is that when we get whatever monkey it is off our back, we shall fly.
We have seen our SP ravaged, and there are many theories as to why. It is a shame that we have lost some long term posters here, but we must all what is right for us.
So what has changed about bushveld over the past 18 months? Are we a better company than 18 months ago, do we have greater potential than 18 months ago, is our NAV higher than 18 months Ago, do we have more certainty y than 18 months ago.
The only negative (apart from the SP) is sentiment. When that changes and it surely will , you will be glad you held your shares.
