IC tip usually the kiss of death, but there must be exceptions. Come on Bushy, prove the exception.
PS volume looks meaty today. Rising on strong volume is no bad thing
All seems very solid, but it won’t stop those thieving bastards trading us down I’m a afraid.
Needs a big piece of news eg ESKOM, moving to main market, dividend or something of that magnitude. Luckily I have more patience than the get rich quick brigade and will have the last laugh.
Would be concerned about listing other than FTSE or DOW because of potential for bigger currency fluctuations, which would cause increased volatility and attract traders rather than holders. Agree that aim is a cesspool of parental disappointments.
The markets work on confidence. How can anyone have confidence in getting back into the market with such a mealy mouthed weak line on shorting. It shows a complete lack of awareness of how immoral the practice of shorting is. An immoral practice carried out by immoral bastards.
Well what a ****storm that has been. Past the point of caring how low it will go. It will recover and that is all I do care about. Hold your nerve, top up if you are able.
Oil price will recover, people will need energy storage when Coronavirus has been and gone.
Market weakness will cause weaker players to fail
Governments around the world will be spending lots on infrastructure projects which needs vanadium steel.
Good luck all holders. F*ck off any shorters etc.
Looks like we will have another massacre on the markets today. I won’t be watching for a few weeks. Until this all blows over.
LTHs know the fundamentals (trolls are not interested in finding out)., consensus is that an overhang seems to have been sold off yesterday, there is market volatility because of ncovid19. Once this settles (as it undoubtedly will), we shall see stellar growth. Meanwhile relax and don’t watch the boards too closely over the next week or two.
25k at 18p paid. £5 notes for 18p, I wish I could buy more.
Last few days have seen reducing volumes and the price has been eroded. What does that tell you?
Afraid we might see red again today as v price slipped. Funny how there is a month’s lag when the price goes up, yet no lag when the price goes down. Tells you all you need to know.
Yet another buying opportunity I suppose.
should point out though Larky, I do agree with you. V was off slightly today and MMs will work to drop us. If we can finish Blue it will be a massive vindication of the recent rise.
Do MMs have balls? IMO they are worthless cowards
tighter spread and better volumes and rising SP. all good indicators.
I’ve always taken it as read that increasing price on increasing volume is a very bullish indicator. Hope to proved correct. Things are stirring here. Who is buying though?
So is this finally it? After 12 months of solid news and share price manipulation, the value of the company and its market value have diverged significantly. It is too early say that this is the re rate that we have been expecting, but we are certainly due a re rate. I note that previously the share price and. v price have approx 4 week lag. This sustained increase in v price could be the catalyst required. I daren’t say it out loud, but this could be it. If we break 22.5 and hold, we could very quickly get to 31p. What an interesting week we have in store.
@vauch:
Guidance by FM of 4400 mtv. Assume $40 per kg with production costs of $18 gives $22 000 per tonne. Gives profit of circa $100m. Mcap of approx $200. This is a forward calculation using some very reasonable assumptions.
Now I would like to see ADVFN calculations.
As I posted yesterday. We are trading at a forward p/e of about 2.
Largo on the other hand on a forward p/e of 12.
Broker forecast of 82, would give us a forward p/e of 8. Doesn’t sound unreasonable does it.
At $40 per Kg and $18 production costs, makes approx $100m profit. Forward pe of 2. Risible.
@Daisydog,
You may be right. I have posted previously, that being taken out on the cheap is one of the biggest threats to us getting fair value for this company.
Apologies if being a bit slow, there has been so much excellent news recently I am finding it harder to keep up. 52 years of dyslexia has made reading detail a trial. However:
Do we have a tie in with any PV supplier so that we can provide a one stop shop for generation and storage. Whatever the pros and cons of Musks products, they are well packaged and easy to access if expensive.
Now if we could package like Tesla but offer a better stationary storage solution together with PV installation, then we really would have something.
Apologies if this is a daft question, I am just so frustrated at the share price.
Great RNS today. Mokopane was given little coverage, which was a surprise to me as that is a vital piece of the expansion jigsaw, the reserves therein are mind boggling.
Any chance of a follow up RNS to expand on the Mokopane announcement?
