I believe in the business, let me make that clear. We are being played for reasons unknown. We have a BOD that appear to be powerless to lift the share price despite their best endeavours. Now FM and co have played some blinders in the past, but the fact remains that a board of directors is put in place by the shareholders to enhance shareholder value, no other reason.
There has been a failure in this. We have silence. we hear nothing. I posted a few weeks ago, that I had emailed the company raising concerns that although the vanadium price was approaching FM's sweet spot of $45, we had seen a drop in share price compared with increases in share price enjoyed by Largo et al. I have had no reply. The silence is deafening. tomorrow I shall call the office to ensure that the management are still there, because at the moment there is little to evidence it.
Faramog, it will be the lithium battery. ;-)
**** poor SP performance compared to all of our peers. Poor communication compared to our peers (especially Largo). Any link?
I invested (£100k....not small change for me) here nearly 3 years ago as the company appeared to offer 'First mover advantage' in the field of Energy storage using Vanadium. Now 3 years on, I'm not so sure we have first mover advantage. We have heard little of the many enquiries that Mikhail said were pipelining, we have capitalised in such a way that there appears to be a constant stream of sellers holding down our share price. Jam tomorrow is all well and good, but even 3 year old jam is a bit bleak.
Funniest thing on YouTube since that sneezing panda.
You have only been duped if you sell at these prices. Sp could recover just as quickly. Remember the RNS wasn’t bad. It might have been better, but was solid enough for our J7 partners to sign up for 4th rig.
Fwiw gold price could be forming a double bottom on the hourly chart as I type. If so it is a very bullish signal.
Unfortunately with such a small mcap, the sp is easily played by nefarious players, but as in life, the truth will out. Hold tight.
just sent this, may not achieve anything, but I will let you know if I get a response.
"Good Morning,
I am the holder of 500000 shares held in a nominee account and have held for up to 30 months. I am excited by the future prospects of the vanadium market and in particular the use of vanadium in battery storage. However I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress in the share price over the past months. I note that our main competitor, Largo, have enjoyed a share price increase of 60% in the past year, moreover their 3 month price performance has mirrored the rise in vanadium prices. Bushveld meanwhile have seen a near 20% drop in share price from a year ago.
Mr Mojapelo stated in an interview that the sweet spot for vanadium pricing sits at about $45. As we approach that figure, the share price remains worryingly low. Are we languishing because of the mendacious actions of the market or is our story not reaching the wider audience to create interest in our company. If it is the former, we must expedite a move away from AIM. If it is the latter, the company must become better at providing news to the wider market. If there is another reason for the poor share price performance, then I would like to learn of it.
The BOD have a responsibility to maximise shareholder returns, regrettably having a brilliant business with a great potential is not enough. We must make sure that the strengths are reflected in the share price.
I await your thoughts."
Feeling very let down as the V price approaches FM sweet spot of $45, it appears that I am not alone. Surely a quick look at the BB would give FM some pointers. His primary role is to increase shareholder returns. Anyone had decent returns over the past 3 years? Nope me neither. For the BOD it is Time to **** or get off the pot . Such potential being squandered is not really any better than market manipulation.
If we can hold 40p today, expected news will blow the next resistance levels out of the water.
thumbs up to that James. Cheers.
Libero, thank you for the reply. You strike me as a very decent person and you make some excellent points. The RNS is unwelcome, but possibly unavoidable. The selling of 1.1 m shares could well explain the poor performance over the past few days. There is much about this share that frustrates the hell out of me, however there is much potential. Good luck and thank you again for your thoughts. BB.
Thanks for your thoughts Libero. As ever well reasoned, however if the future was that great for BMN, surely the directors could raise money some other way. If you had a bill to pay, I’ll wager that the last thing to go would be the bmn shares, after all they are going to re rate soon apparently.
So really poor communication except where director sells are concerned. If the directors can’t be bothered with this company, neither can I. There will be some big sells tomorrow and they will be mine.
what chance the awaited news lands on TSX opening?
Dryland, Apologies if I mis interpreted your post. Just getting very excited by this rise. think we could onto something here.
regret you would be wasting your time Dryland. FCA are complicit IMO
Seen this before with BMN. the market is dysfunctional and the FCA complicit. This is not restricted to AIM as witnessed by the reddit movement.
If you no one sells, they will have to budge at some point. Do not sell, if you do you will lose out on a wonderful opportunity, but perhaps more importantly you will vindicate and validate the reprehensible behaviour of the MMS and their ilk.
I've sold a few today, that should guarantee a nudge up in price. Share the frustration of many here. Vanadium up up and away, decent performance in the midst of the worst pandemic in our lifetime, brilliant potential with VRBs yet still the price is chalked down. Sorry to drag up old washing, but if the comms were better from BOD, we would have a sporting chance. FM may be a superb strategist and a genius dealmaker, but if the share price doesn't respond, it is all for nothing. The Board has a duty to maximise shareholder returns. Shareholder returns at the moment are **** poor. Good luck to those who remain, it has been good to know you.
so Prince selling 7k worth of shares has got some feathers ruffled and bought some naysayers to the surface. We seem to have overlooked the fact that IES director has bought nearly £50k worth of IES. He believes in the future of VRFB, so should we.
finished at or near the day's high. looking good for the week ahead. managed a final 22500 sub 30. wont get the chance again (I hope). Remember; massive numbers from MEM, myself and others put fair value IF we have 10-20mOz at 10-20 bagger. Charts are showing pennant has been formed. Today could be the start of the breakout we deserve.
Finally RNS due.
GLA. see you at the £4 party
20 moz = 4 bn seems fair, so to sell for 2 bn (leave a bit of profit for the buyer) would be £10 a share, right?
