Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
ODONNELL will you stop ramping SEED over here, no one cares
Thing is, no body actually cares about your investments and blatant ramping of other shares.
This is a bb for FSJ, let’s keep it that way
Well I don’t know about anyone else, but I was really expecting an rns at 7am
Y11-shx oh dear oh dear, nice try.
The shareholders get diluted, so the sp may drop to take that into consideration but the mcap of the company will still be the same as they’ve suddenly got an additional £180mil cash that they didn’t have prior to the shareholder dilution.
The current mcap of the company around £550mil, this was as yesterday when the market knows full well that the sfo fine is owed so that’s all been accounted for.
It’s almost like you’re worried about the outcome of your short after this news, the fact you’re acting so desperate by twisting truths to try manipulate weak pi’s. After all I can’t blame you as in some cases news like this can actually make the sp rise if it’s seen to be what will get the company back on track much quicker than initially expected
What rubbish are you spouting now? Have you even read the article? It’s around 100 Petrofac employees and due to one of Petrofac clients instructions over pay, this will be easily resolved. This will not have a detrimental effect to pfc sp
Well that makes no sense whatsoever, but thanks for trying
What we thinking of the chunky after hours buy? I’m not talking about the UT, but after hours before 5pm quite a few times recently there’s been a large chunky buy of around 500k shares. Do we know if those are actual buys or mm’s balancing their books?
I’m inclined to think they’re actual buys as we seem to open up higher on the morning, but then have dropped back throughout the day frustratingly
Hi all, does anyone know when we’re due a business update from the bod? Tia
The SP is only where it is right now due to the fact no one knows how much the special divi is, as we don’t know exactly what assets are being sold. If we knew all that the SP would re-rate. But we don’t and there’s a chance a sale won’t happen, albeit a small chance, so there’s a risk and that’s why SP stuck in this range
Just look up BRH and do a little homework yourself.
SP was around 35p 2nd Dec, 3rd Dec they RNS a special divi of 42.75p, SP re-rated
You do understand the difference between a special divi and a regular divi don’t you? The actual SP is irrelevant. Check out BRH as an example of a company that paid out a special divi that was more than the SP at the time of announcement
What planet are you on?! Go take your meds and come back when you make some sense
Thanks again Ian_ very helpful.
I can see from that info DS has been involved for much longer than I had previously realised as it shows he was buying shares back in 2011 even.
Excellent thank you.
Thanks Ian_
Apologies for asking this out of the blue. I’d always thought he’d invested a million quid at 0.5p per share, but I’ve seen others stating he bought in at 5p per share… Just wondered if one of the lth’s would be so kind to clarify this for me? Thanks in advance
Was just interested to hear his view and justification of it. I honestly can’t understand why he’s wasting his time commenting on here if he’s no interest in buying in/a current shareholder. He should at least give some proper explanation, otherwise he should do everyone else a favour and do one
Out of interest Tiger, what do you think full sale price for eua would be in the region of then?
percentage to PFC also, so all in all not a bad result today imo.
Chri55 shows up... What a surprise. Just the same as what he was like on MCRO, but once he realised he had completely missed the boat on that one he’s now nowhere to be seen. Even MCRO had a loss of 3 billion but still the sp has rocketed since. These kind of results are already well and truly priced in, why do you think the sp is as low as it is you fool?
