Pleased to see the SP disagreeing with 4kandles chartmanship. ZIOC is not chartable. Sad to see the SP rise on hot air which soon evaporated. Congratulations to whoever paid 12p! I'm sure you'll be rewarded fairly shortly. A sharp rise to 20p might be the best we can hope for over the next 5 years. As soon as that knowledge hits the fan the SP will collapse! Could Elphick/GLEN be so stupid? Hardly! The deal will reward them while leaving LTHs high and dry. As LTHs exit Elphick/GLEN will buy their shares for peanuts so it's a win/win. Alternatively, each party could behave like gentlemen and treat all shareholders alike which would result in a fair offer. Bear in mind all posts here will be part of the evidence should LTHs launch a legal case against Elphick/GLEN.

It's a mystery why the SP continues to sag. It might sound stupid but is it simply down to a lack of investors? With very few people wanting to invest in a goldmine in Cameroon the SP must continue to fall as existing investors lose heart. Which, of course, puts off existing investors like me from increasing their holding. We've been here before and it's incredibly hard to get out of this rut. After my impending ZIOC jackpot I was planning to go large here but it's a difficult call!

Welcome back DrRemington - you were right to lose interest in ZIOC! Some of us just sat here like rabbits in the headlights too afraid to sell. "I wouldn't want to be out of this over the next decade." Anyway, it finally, finally looks like something's going to happen - hopefully what we all want but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a huge disappointment to every LTH like me who's been expecting a jackpot. ZIOC might hit a new 52 week high today if only the Never Wrong To Take A Profit Brigade would sit on their hands.

@Barravelli I have no idea! 10p would certainly be cheeky and presumably would be rejected but it might also prompt higher offers from other interested parties. Would 45p be enough to seize control of KP2 at this stage in the proceedings? It might be worth more in a few years but a bird in the hand etc.

Meanwhile the SP continues to rise over £1 which must release a huge number of shares from LTHs with little imagination. I don't want that to happen as one of those LTHs could be me! Please can we have an astronomical takeover offer ASAP? Horrible feeling it won't happen hence Mr Market's dim view.

Don't count your chickens too soon LandOwner! A fox may have other plans. I see this going sub-150p next year as the Labour Government continues to wreck the UK Economy. FTSE 100 certainly heading towards 7500 as everything gets much worse rather than better. Best investment: a well-stocked bunker in your back garden!

Rob5: you got your timing wrong! No reason to sell unless you've lost faith in the bigger picture. Or have a more compelling investment in mind? ORR has had a cloud hanging over it in the form of Lanstead yet good news is failing to lift the SP.

It's all very frustrating and there's no guarantee that Cameroon is the new place to be gold-wise. Mr Market appears to have his reservations but WTFDHK? I'm waiting to add to my holding but I'd rather buy on the way up than the way down which could be the same SP!

TheDealBreaker: I used to think I'd be "over the moon" if the takeover was £1 but it's a fraction of what the project is worth.

I'll stick to 900p but I can't enter the sweepstake as I disagree with nominating a charity only to probably end up donating to another. OK for people who have money to throw around but not for me. Should I trouser more than £1m I'll think about donating to charities or maybe doing something far more practical like offering a home to a refugee.

300% is the kind of rise I'm hoping TOM will experience someday soon. Still only equates to a Mkt. Cap. of £10m.
