There are certainly more in the Reducing than Increasing Short Positions column. No calculator to hand to verify but it looks around 100K improvement at first glance.

Please ignore Shorter Sharebel. On 4th March he was a Strong Seller at 0.014p while it soon rose to 0.023p before inevitable profit taking occurred. Any stock he shorts, goes up. Check out his contributions on Wood Group for proof.

Looking at the last 20+ trades, they were almost certainly all buys. Except one rogue trade, there was nothing below 44.5p which suggests to me that they were probably all buys rather than the 50:50 split indicated by the LSE system.

As it's still the Holy Month of Ramadan when little business activity takes place in the Arabian Gulf at this time, my view is that we won't hear anything until Monday at the earliest.

I sincerely wish I had not sold on Friday afternoon. What a bummer.

But Mike, why on earth are funds and institutional investors deliberately keeping it suppressed for as long as possible? What is their motive and reasoning? It makes very little sense to me, a humble investor.

In early-December, directors were buying heavily around the 80p mark. I can see the SP rising back to that level very soon.

Vulcan, an interesting post but frankly not much different from what the vast majority have been posting on here all along, Sharebel excepted. Not really sure if your criticism of the LSE board is justified.
