Citi has reiterated its 'buy' rating on Melrose Industries on Friday as it said it "presents a compelling investment opportunity", sending shares in the aerospace manufacturing firm higher. Its price target is 735p.

In the words of Talies the Almighty himself, NO OFFER=SHORT TERM PAIN. For that reason I am tempted to sell half of my WG holding tomorrow afternoon if no positive news arrives. Then, if Sidara decide to walk away or Wood reject their offer and the SP crashes to 20p on a typical market over-reaction then I will have the funds available to buy more on the cheap for the longer term. Looks like the bottom was reached around 485p, now up another 8% this morning. Should reach 550p by the weekend.

I have decided to join the party and expect to say at least a 20% uptick by Easter.

Sharebel has excelled himself today over at CPAI where he was a Strong Sell only to see the SP rise over 110% this morning. If you check his post history, almost every company he posts on is a Strong Sell, clearly a parasitic shorter.

You will soon be down another 10% thanks primarily to the lack of business acumen from the leadership.

The SP will approach the 180p mark by the close of business.
