Glad to see that short positions have finally dropped from 6.3% to 5.8%.

Have just sold my holding in a static UK company in order to almost double my holding in WG before the weekend.

But if you read the entire RNS you will also see substantial increases in short positions and reductions in long positions. I wish they would make such announcements easier to understand.

Am guessing that the forecast was made before the recent surge in defence activity so have decided to buy at 575p today, fingers crossed. It may drop initially but pretty sure there will be a bounce next week.

Interesting that a similar company Hunting has just issued a good set of results and yet the SP falls nearly 10%, so maybe it's just the general market causing the recent drops.

PensionInvestor mate, having just read your recent post history, you appear to be negative about all your investments. Please keep your obsessive pessimism to yourself. We are all in the same boat. As for WG,. this will do nothing for two weeks and then BOOM.

Your response is pathetic OM. Have you checked the latest Short Positions graph on here? Shorts above 6.2% now. They cannot all be wrong. Am still hopeful of a 75p-125p offer but there is still a risk involved.

Despite rampant optimism on here, I am expecting a pull back in the SP today. Hopefully it will stay above 40p but unlikely unless some positive news arrives.

I don't recall saying that so please remind me when. I have been a long term holder with a 55p average, so would be happy to see it rise. Wood is also my largest holding by a very long way. I have previously expressed annoyance at the impatience and blatant ramping by certain posters.
