FTSE only marginally lower, so no issues.

DOW fell nearly 1,000pts but recovering slightly with futures up 260pts. Not expecting FTSE to fall more than 1% hopefully.

Markets up? I thought the DOW crashed another 2.5% yesterday.

Stew mate, there is very little chance the SP will be up 10% tomorrow let alone your suggested 50% and I am a holder with 15% of my portfolio in WG. My prediction is that this will fall to Sharebel's teens this week, but may recover after suspension. Am thinking of selling the lot tomorrow and buying back just before suspension.

Sidara will offer 25p max, which hopefully WG will reject.

Do you mean it will reopen at 34.5p AFTER suspension? I very much doubt it, but may have to wait 6-9 months for that to happen. Still waiting for Evraz and PPP to reopen after more than a year.

But Ice, surely the SP standing at only 20p reflects the likely price of the bid when formally offered rather than a rejection.
