You should have bought in at 75p this morning. My gut feeling is that HOC will be back over 100p by close of business today. Politicians are fickle, especially Latin American ones.

Hochschild said it has become aware that the Peruvian head of Cabinet is potentially looking to close some mining projects in southern Ayacucho, including Hochschild's Pallancata and Inmaculada mines, due to "alleged environmental complaints"...this sounds like more left wing, political posturing which might not happen. Get ready for a bounce later this week.

Once the Board has completed its review of the body armor business (which is <20% of the business), we expect to provide an update, likely in the first half of December.

A healthy bounce back this afternoon. Was 530p a few hours ago but now 575p and rising.

Not really. Shot up from 15.75p to 17.75p inside an hour. Now stabilising at 17.25p. Probably going to step up again to match the +54% rise recorded in Frankfurt earlier today.

Personally I might consider selling at 475p but there is a fair way to go before my target is reached, hopefully before Xmas though.

They say " buy on the rumour, sell on the news ", so personally I am expected SP disappointment tomorrow. I hope to be proven wrong as I need to sell at 48.75p to break even.

I wish they would make Holding RNS understandable. Unable to grasp whether it's good or bad news.

I invested at 936p on Friday but despite today's 17% bounce, I am still worried by the company's failure to explain how their wonderful product apparently failed a customer test. Expecting some industial sabotage to be alleged.

Quite frankly, they hardly need to deramp when you look at the RNS in detail. For a company selling body armour to have to admit that it doesn't work, surely that in itself deserves the massive drop. As a long term holder, however, I remain hopeful that the story may have been blown out of all proportions, possibly industrial sabotage involving a potential buyer of the company's armour division for a vastly reduced price. Don't trust American capitalists.

I have just added to my portfolio at 925p primarily on the basis that the CEO (McDonald), his wife and the CFO bought £200K worth of shares at 2025p only a couple of months ago. They will presumably try their damned hardest to minimise their losses.

Just bought at 1135p so hoping you may be a tad pessimistic.
