Apologies to self, but I took my eye off this ball on this share a little while ago. Now just looking at top 10 holdings on HL to find 93% with:
JPM GBP Liquidity LVNAV X (dist.)
Would I be close to the mark to suggest my losses are sitting in cash? In which case has anyone any sage words on what is expected now - using this cash to buy back "?undervalued?" stocks when yhey are available again???
Following on (must be 200 behind??):
If the SP has dropped on a good RNS (supposedly as at least one commentator on here has surmised) because a forth cohort means a delay in going to market; then the extension to that argument is that recent sellers are holding this belief … but were largely convinced it works, not that it doesn’t … right?? So, it’s not the potential magnitude of the return these chaps ‘n’ chapesses want, it is the speed of return. By what timescale I wonder?? So now I’m confused (wot again!!), as I am just wondering where you think they can get a quicker return of “acceptable” magnitude from elsewhere, especially in these bolllux times. Perhaps if you are of said breed … gives us all a laff as to what that might be??!!
p.s. LOL in anticipation
4 days this week saw a spike in sp just before COB, largely on a small volume transaction, only to then drop back first thing on the next trading day. Yet there are times when the sp hardly moves on much greater volume.
Seriously Curious ... what is this end of trading day spiking all about??
@ shatter - quite agree about Peel Hunt; don't need to change too many letters to get what I think of them too :)
IC has published a little nuance on recent SP movements ...

Explanation of some sort ...
Indeed ... it semms like 1 RNS forward, 2 steps back.
Why sell now after two positive RNSs, unless you hold for minutes, rather than weeks or months, because you could have sold last week and got a higher price.
All a bit barking imo
Whilst you speak the truth, you tred heavily and miss the nuance ...
If the price is dropping then it is easier to sell than buy ... so why then all this speak of unbriddled optimism? References to AS and the AGM spouting similar? Is it all misplaced? Clearing large tranches of the market believe something else. Optimism is currently outweighed, so there is some huge pessimism out there contrary to what you see on here!!
?? And I find that confusing ?!?!
