You can tell when things aint great when a 5% drop equates to 2 hundredths of a penny.

Which could well be the case early in the new year unless LC actually pulls his finger out. Even he must realise that the gravy train is starting to run out of gravy.

It’s going to take more than MED to turn this around. Where is the definitive progress on Bots, Moz and Tanzania? ML and PPA and private offtake agreements (not MOUs or letters of intent?

What’s the expectation on SP on Monday when we add 54% more shares. A placing normally comes with cash but in this case 25% of the cash was already spent. Also it depends on whether the market thinks the remaining £1.5m will actually be used on anything productive. If not I guess we could see 0.3p?

SirG how would sum up LC’s record to date?

Thanks for the reply Dave. Good to hear your optimism. Do you think LC has real view as to where the company might be in 1 year or 3 years? That is to say number of shares in issue, progress on projects, funding partners. equity partners and their share of the business and the expected market cap of the business? I fully agree that there will always be unknowns and an element of luck involved but I get the impression that, for instance, the number of future shares issued is of no concern to LC and the board and therefore financial planning starts and ends at keeping the lights on.

I was either optimistic, greedy or stupid enough to think I might be able to double or treble my investment here. I would now consider a 50% loss a major result.

This therefore destroys existing shareholder confidence particularly as he has now clearly demonstrated the greed and cynicism of the board with the recent placing. Let’s be honest here, the vast majority of LTHs are now only interested in damage limitation given recent events.

To be fair SirG it would difficult to argue that LC’s record is anything other than shocking. He still appears to have no detailed master plan other than to bring the projects to a close with no regard for how this might affect long term shareholders. His strategy seems to be to take everything one step at a time with no attempt to plan an ultimate outcome other than ‘whatever’.

until after the dust has settled from the placing of the 400+ million shares. There can be no way we receive any news that pushes the SP above 0.45p before the shares are even being traded on 4th November. One would assume that even the KIBO BoD would find that somewhat embarrassing. Then again...? SirG I suspect this may well be behind your think too?
