George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I'm praying there is no reserved judgement.... Unless the FCA pull a unicorn out of a hidden closet guarded by 4 big 3 headed tigers... I get the FCA want to do the dance to show they have championed "customers" interests but for it to be reserved... That's nuts, hopefully
You're 100% right jonno41. But the fairness thing is crazy, hard earned invested money, could go either way... And then claiments saying they shouldn't have been given the money, but they have used the money... And need to pay it back,FCA shouldn't be saying it's wrong a handful of people will be rich if it's approved, all people will be in different circumstances all the time....
I fully understand what your saying, and your right, but the FCA attacking shareholders and standing up for what is "right" without being able to quantify what "right" means is ridiculous....
.....PI's are investing hard earned cash from working and saving all their lives, you can't just say it isn't fair that some people will become rich, they will become rich because they have worked hard, seen this opportunity and took the plunge and invested, they could lose everything (slim chance now hopefully).
Just because people have took a loan (that they need) now are saying they shouldn't have been given it, can't really say it isn't fair because they aren't in the same job or have the same qualifications as someone else, and that someone else is making money..... You know what I mean? I see people scrimping all day... But they have money for a a flipping £45 a month sky TV bill, they have the money for sniffing, they have the money for smoking.... Surely live within your means
Loans firm Amigo may fail in days, says boss https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-9582033/Loans-firm-Amigo-fail-days-says-boss.html?ito=native_share_article-top
Kind of points to the fact if the judge says no, nobody gets anything, amigo folds, no compensation or anything. A very good article basically eluding to the fact the judge should allow amigo to continue.... Hmmmmmmmmm very good, very good indeed..... £1 by Friday?
....noticed a big change in people's attitudes towards covid today, it's almost as if when Monday comes there will be absolute carnage in shops, restaurants and Cineworld on Wednesday.... I think market sentiment and this inflation fears will be put at ease. Bring on the Card Factory Rocket ship, I hope we at the very least touch £1
Nice find LTHcine, backs our case that the SOA should be passed, the judge is upholding what is lawful and Amigo have acted lawfully and not misconstrued any information to the claimants in getting the votes....
It also make the FCA look like a complete mockery, the judge only looks at the scheme in place, the FCA has had ample time to come up with amendments to the scheme (which passed basically unanimously) way before it got to this point and the votes had already been collected and counted....
The takeover thing in that particular case has to been seen for what it is, quite different in the sense that amigo is not entertaining any talk of takeover in court with a judge, maybe behind closed doors it is a possibility, but definitely not on record, in front of a judge for now. Unless the FCA has got wind of a possible takeover? Which there counsel will bring up in open court? Which will mean the SOA has to be updated? But surely waaaayyyyyyy to late for that considering the SOA was passed and voted 95% in favour for.... Lol . I'm just thinking out loud here now.... Surely the SOA have been passed and voted for unanimously (95%) means the FCA can't turn up and say "hold on, the vote is bullshivizum because we have changed our mind on the SOA... which we said we weren't oposing." Even to say hold on we want more percentage at this point, after the SOA has been accepted, after the SOA has been sent out, after the results have been counted, after finding 95% voted positively toward the scheme.... Disserves a massive backhand across the face of the FCA by the judge....
The more you think about it, the FCA are clowns to say this at this point, even if they said 2 months ago, "hold on guys, we want a few more percent on that..." Then fair enough, but NOW it is utterly ridiculous.
Roll on Amigo 2.0, the future of lending, worldwide exposure, global reach, pioneers of customer safety and due diligence.... Rocket.... launch.... Moon.... £10. (Ok maybe not £10 this year)
Considering the bloodbath in worldwide markets today, and slaughter of Amigo due to the complete and utter disgraceful actions of the FCA (Amigo will thrive in the long run ;-), we done really well here on card, would have been alot higher if it was a normal day on the markets.... I can honestly see 150p not being as far as people think, and if Ted, Superdry etc are anything to go by, card factory stores will be minting it... Just need some more positive sentiment toward cardfactory.co.uk and we gon be rich
If you look at the "after-hour" trades for today on Morningstar, there isn't those massive blocks of over 100,000 shares etc totalling millions, maybe the II's have filled up now? TR1s due? I got no idea what to think... Just waiting for the fireworks hopefully this week
Vinson! nothing but love and respect, alot of people have used your posts for information and to help build a picture of what's going on, me included, I'll never forget you.
Tuesday.... Hmmmm.... I seriously think it will be a monumental day, anything less than 10% I'll be disappointed, should easily break 33p and maybe end 36p, that just what I'm expecting....
OMG the trailer for venom 2 actually says "only in cinemas this year"
Booooooom
I know we are already open, but 17th May when rules are eased slightly should see people's confidence increase, they will more freely go out, thus is good for our store and footfall.... And SP lol.
I think £1 should be hit this week, as long as we don't get a super mutant alien Asian Indian African Turkish Greek American Anglo Saxon Roman Jurassic Covid Strain pop op
Very interesting week ahead I think.... Sentiment is changing with these type of articles, people are craving out of home experiences
I think someone mentioned why mooky didn't buy more shares at rock bottom prices ... I think it was because it took his family holdings over a certain level at which he would have been required to formally take the whole company or something, and also because of insider trading....
Cruis1... About us being in Dreamworld.... #Coommeee with need and youullll seeee a wooorrrllllddd offf puuurreeee immmaagggiinnattiiooonn.....# lol
But seriously it isn't all that far fetched... China have crippled country's by loaning money against the country's n natural resources by enticing them to use the money to better the country n build infrastructure etc... Knowing full well they will get into trouble and end up paying China back with the land etc. China are ruthless, look at the ughiurs n slave labour openly happening in this day and age...
With regards to regal.... No way it is being sold off, Cineworld will only go as a whole... But funny that regal is worth double the market cap of Cineworld n regal combined at the moment lol.
Love and respect to all posters though, this is a nice place to bounce ideas around and collate knowledge
Long Live Cineworld.
NOFEAR - think about you all the time since the dark days
.....yahoo are bang on this time ;-) .... But if online send the right signals out, and card factory get a TV advert out with a nice catchy tune and slogan to rival Moonpig... Card factory becomes a household name, become a go to app, It might be £2 by October. Never mind the constantly expanding card factory retail store estate....
Ted Baker & Superdry updated the market this week stating store openings were loads better than expected, we also announced the same, arguably in comparison to Ted n Superdry we haven't seen the monumental rise they have and we disserve ....
Only a matter of time till Card Factory travels toward and beyond £1.50
