Trust me dan, if they shop online and pick up from the store try will buy other things by impulse purchase. Stores kill to increase footfall and impulse buys... Think of the sweets n chocolate bars at the checkouts in the super market...it all can make a big difference
Shooting at regal cinema in Cali...
1 dead, 1 hospitalised
14% down! Lol. Does anyone think algos are picking up on this and selling card or something? Otherwise, why are we down 3.5% at the mo?
I thinks it's bodes well for us in the long run though, moonpig have basically admitted that reopenings means their sales will be materially down in the comings years.... Well I guess this means a lot on punters are gonna be walking into card factory shops...
On a different note, card factory have be opening new stores too, hopefully they touch on how they are going in the upcoming results....
Good luck all LTHs
Anybody got any idea what happened today at 4.06pm onward? Seems like a massive spike from nowhere... Cineworld had a good increase today but alot more a steady rise throughout the day, with card factory, it's just spiked
Not that far out that Dean could have been asked to come back to Card Factory to help with the transition and uplift of online sales and also further store openings, not to mention all the other help he could provide...
Only way is up... £1 maybe sooner than expected
What are you guys making of all the dumb 1, 2, 4 etc share trades close to end of day today, seems really fishy....
Shady69 & LTLover I do agree with what your saying.... F the FCA. They are the only entity actively working against a resolution... I do understand they want more money, but if they just helped hash out the deal instead of saying we don't negotiate... It would have saved a lot of agro.
JDW the infinite time and 15% profit makes total sense, it is in effect an ace card that should be guaranteed to let amigo 2.0 flourish
...anybody else surprised at the working used on the new slides amigo published today...? They are firing direct shots at the FCA, I honestly thought they would try to brown nose as much a possible to get the SOA 2.0 over the line... I can only think Amigo are extremely confident that the FCA will have no grounds at all to oppose the new scheme.... I hope.
Jacen.... There is over 165 Personalisable father's Day cards..... I think you are looking within a sub category. Also A range of gift wraps etc are available, along with gift sets and personalisable gifts .. the selection is pretty good....
I think the judge must have ruled this because amigo went too far in saying this or insolvency when that wasn't the real case.... Of course FCA need to be called out too, feel sorry for the illiterate 95% of creditors that needed that bit of money they would have got if the judge did this job properly
Honestly chuffed that the times has seen what we have seen, a few niggles to sort out and then boom, but I'm confident retail will return in droves.... Also nice to see they mentioned Aldi and Matalan sales, I have been mentioning then for ages, will be very interesting to see what kind of numbers they can generate with Aldi and Matalan compared to our own store real estate.... Could be fireworkt
Yeah I can't see the dates moving too much now, studios have positioned releases as much as they can so we aren't treading on each others toes, Tantalising schedule of releases now, we are truly heading for a golden age of cinema that has never been witnessed before.
If anyone has been reading the cinema and movie related articles over the weekend you can clearly see that China has been mentioned a few times as the largest market for movies... Has got me thinking jhango---> construction----> foray into Asian market for Cineworld? It's an idea I cannot seem to shake out of my head.
Peter rabbit is also getting very good reviews...
But anyway, his week will be very interesting indeed, if the price is held at this level (85p-87p) there is foul play, I don't mind I will add some mores shares, but honestly with covid good news and cinema good news, anything less than a 5% rise for Cineworld tomorrow.... Mark my words, somebody is messing about big time
