Regarding Savvyinvestor’s comments about why shouldn’t SDC1801 now be prioritised for quicker development following the scientific find that the mutated TYK2 gene is linked to the cytokines storms prevalent in many Covid19 cases. My understanding is that SDC1801 has already been tested on people with Lupus in the SRI International trial on personnel in the US military. The outcome of that SRI trial was positive which I understand has now led to Tim and Johns’ decision to target Lupus in the forthcoming phase1 clinical trials. We have recently seen scientific evidence of similarities between the Lupus and Covid19 symptoms. So we appear to have a treatment that has already been tested on humans for a condition closely resembling COVID at a time when the virus is starting to get out of control with the worst of the winter months still ahead. Given this scenario, It seems odd to me why we should not now get extra support to get SDC1801 into COVID trials as quick as possible. But to do this, the emphasis initially should be on Sareum to approach the Grant Awarding Body to discuss options for a fast track option.with the The Grant Awarding Body. Surely this is a question to be asked at the AGM tomorrow?

Totally incorrect. It has been made clear from the scientific evidence that we will always need alternative treatments to treat COVID 19. An Sareums SDC-01 is well on its way to doing that and being a major player.

That’s why the BBC report stated that although it worked in saving critically ill people on ventilators there would need to be ongoing monitoring of patients on the precise effect of survival. Workingpharma - have not seen the Times article but likely to be based on this Research which Professor Workman is so excited about in a March 2020 paper entitled ‘Two pronged attack on DNA repair can kill drug resistant Cancers’. The article refers to combo of SRA737 and B family DNA Polymerases.
