It strikes me as tokenism from Tory MPs who are being embarrassed by the government's handling of COVID-19. HSBC saving this money won't affect their ability to lend or help where they can. Don't look at the slow response or the lack of testing but look at the financial package and strong measures we've taken to make sure banks can lend. A distraction technique.

I can't see HSBC moving though. Hong Kong is China. No way they actually want to be under Chinese control. The US is a bear pit to operate in. Europe is out as the banking sector isn't healthy at the moment. There aren't really any other options.

I agree they should pay the recent divi at least. Hopefully when this is over, assuming the company does weather the storm okay, they will pay out a special one to thank loyal investors.

I'm not doubting your account ddubya. Such things do go on. However, I have some indirect experience myself where the accused showed the opposite behaviour. The gap in consequences between pleading guilty and not pleading guilty were so great that everyone bent over backwards to demonstrate cooperation, follow the rules and do everything the authorities told them to.

Escalating minimum royalties must have been putting Merck in a difficult position with no resulting product launches. Doesn't look too bad to me. My guess would be we'll carry on as is but without the escalator.

Seems dependent on third parties wanting 15% of Versarien but this condition prevents Versarien from needing to contribute any of the cash upfront. Looks good that there is incentive for Versarien to receive $4.2M in sales within 2 years.

- Low end of expected debt.
- Q1 2022 has been in line with expectations.
- Week on week revenue in March significantly up.
- Now infrastructure upgrade is complete CAPEX expected to be < £10M.

Thanks guys. Some interesting reading there. I just think that we get an outbreak of one virus or other every few years. Some scarier than this one. Thank goodness Ebola never spread very far. Also, the best actions to take for future prevention are monitoring and planning. Basically, reverse every action Donald Trump has taken. Reopen CDC offices around the world to monitor developments in local populations and maintain enduring pandemic management functions in governments. So not sure much of this investment will happen. If however we chuck a load of money at the wall to see if any of it sticks I'd be very happy for grants and funding to come NANOs way for Vivodots.

I'm not convinced Hawi but we'll see. Especially in the field of medicine. That goes slowly because it has to. We all want a vaccine or a treatment for COVID but not if it proves to be another Thalidomide. Can't imagine any connections between our current situation and IoT or digitisation to be honest.

Because any commercial products are many years off and Vivodots have no proposed application in the treatment of viruses.

I can't recall if it was last year or the year before but NANO said they were going to partner up with US business and technical universities in a joint venture to commercialise the medical product stream by setting up new companies. Like many of the other things the board kicked off it was never heard of again. Until we get new news there isn't really anything to get excited about IMO.
