The conflict is obviously going to weigh on the share price until it's resolved. Unfortunately, from what I'm reading, it sounds like both sides are very much up for a fight so it might go on for a long time. As long as the company keeps going operationally and piling up the cash the share price will recover in time.

Potentially a very good presentation from Apple for IQE yesterday. LIDAR in two models when leaks suggested one and 5G in every model. The only thing is I can't find what form of 5G. Apple says, "Most bands." We really need mm wave to have a good chance of using IQE power converters.

I agree that negative rates would turbo charge PMs but I can't see it happening. There are more conventional ways of freeing up money for the benefit of ordinary people. I doubt negative rates would have that effect anyway. They would just juice non-cash asset classes owned by the wealthy.

I agree with that overall booboouberbear but generally Democratic presendencies are more fiscally responsible than Republican ones. You can see it clearly in the debt and deficit graphs going back to Reagan. If Biden wins and there's a clean sweep they will undoubtedly launch a big rescue / stimulus package but the negative effect on the dollar will be balanced by renewed confidence in the US. I also think they will tax to pay the bills. They'll put the corporate tax rate back to where it was. That won't hurt business at all as they didn't invest the Trump tax cut in anything worthwhile anyway. They will hopefully raid the billionaires as well. Finaly, whomever wins we are likely to start bringing COVID under control next year. If that's combined with a real push on a "green new deal" of some sort there maybe some very high growth rates in the US again.

Surely the amount of poswer generated is absolutley tiny. It couldn't be used to replace any normal daily power use. However, it could be very handy for powering tiny batteries in IoT devices and other micro applications.
