I just don't know what the agreement not to further contest the patents means. No one's thinking there won't be a trail or anything but what will happen at the trial if PTAB upholds all the patents?

I don't know what happens if PTAB finds for NANO. On the face of it it's all over and we go straight to determining damages. I'm pretty sure willful infringement isn't the default though. Samsung will say, "Fair cop, we thought at the time that the patents were no good and therefore acted in good faith while ripping Nanoco off. So, it wasn't willful infringement."

Hope so. Maybe they think they would be able to negotiate any settlement down to below the license cost per screen though in which case they would drag it out.

Cyclone seasons are inherently unpredictable. Most will pass without incident. Oil companies in the Gulf of Mexico don't put out production forecats adjusted for future hurricanes. That said, bigger and bigger storms will hit more and more often with climate change.

With a loss of £21.5m and nearly £50m in the bank before any more milestone payments including the £19m received post period it looks like there's headroom for 2022. That said, depending on how much R&D they do this year, with expanding clinical trials and the fact companies need to bring cash in way before they run out it's possible. Apologies if I missed something in the RNA (I often do) but it feels a lot more financially stable than many I read.

The SP and the discussion board has been all over the place recently because of outside events but it's difficult to see this as anything other than positive.

REDX appears to be in rude health. Particularly pleased that milestone payments are keeping cash topped up. They're spending a lot as well but no need for borrowing or placements this year and hopefully they'll receive more payments with existing agreements having a long way to run yet.

I don't think they were obligated to issue this morning's update stating that nothing had changed. Hopefully this is the new CEO drawing a line in the sand and saying, "My time starts now."

Separately the Ericsson CEO has been doing the rounds this morning after better than expected results. According to Ericsson 5G roll out in China is still going very slowly but keeping it in perspective globally the roll out has been the fastest new technology adoption ever, we're still at the beginning, problems with US airlines is a distraction that will have no meaningful impact and their forecast for speeding up the roll out is increasing not decreasing.

It sounds like a half way house. If they'd already passed the saftey and eficacy end points required for clinical trials in the past why run more? Certainly the results demonstrate the route should be pursued and whatever hoops need to be jumped through to go for regulatory approval would be worth doing.
