It's just a down day in the market and a bit of sell on news with the RNS.

It is a generalisation yes. It's a trend worth keeping an eye IMO. Don't read too much into it though Troublesome. I've not got a crystal ball.

Still, it does seem expectations are being moved to slightly thereafter. Not necessrily a big deal. I'm starting to worry Nanoco may have been unlucky with timing around the cost of living crisis. I can see companies scaling back on hi tech new product launches. Near term orders may be fewer in number and smaller size than we're hoping for.

Possibly the most annoying thing about the company.

Normally I'd say who knows the market short term wibble wibble but in this case I think it's pretty clearly that docket 84 was rejected.

While very odd I'm sure it's unlrelated. Samsung are probably just trying to highlight what's different between QD-OLED and their other platforms albeit it's very confusing. Maybe throwing smoke up in front of LG's OLEDs at the same time doesn't hurt.

As for positioning. Im not sure it's true. The mini-LED only TVs are getting a kicking in the reviews. Or are you referring to the QNED ones? While Samsung's "OLED" TVs are getting fantastic reviews for picture quality they are being called out for not getting as bright as many expected and having less natural colours than LG's OLED. Maybe Samsung want to get one final generation of QNED out at the top of the tree while they refine OLED?

Let's hope orders materialise in these financially challening times. Not much evidence yet that projects are being shelved or paused but I'd be surprised if some don't.

I noticed Apple and Koss settled their dispute over wireless earbud patents last Saturday with the court case due to start this last Monday morning. Shows how close it can go.

Agree. Looks very promising.

Think it's probably wishful thinking Dogsy. Legal trouble is a part of the operating environment for large technology companies. My guess is it'll go to court, be costly and take ages. Hope not though.

As expected but the currency tailwind feels good even if it's ultimately irrelevant.

After the 5th of September they'll be free for jury duty. Now there's a scary thought. Never an easier group for Samsung to pay off.

I'll go with Samsung settlement first just based on the following slightly tortured logic. The trading update with the recent fundraise stated, "The Company's cash runway will now extend past the key strategic milestones of production order visibility and the outcome of the Samsung litigation trial - both expected in H2 CY2022 or shortly thereafter."

The timeline for the trial is known so the shortly thereafter must refer to order visibility. It's worst case expectation though.

Yeah, I think Samsung will challenge every angle.

Can't see the judge going for that after Samsung requested the stay to go down the PTAB route.
