Glimmer of hope though Stoater is that it's a 3 year agreement for work on existing mass market products. Hopeful that any impact to the bottom line will be more immediate than for the over the horizon stuff such as micro led.
These partnerships are really starting to pile up. I take it this is new work as it's labelled a diversification.
Are they at the wavelengths BT said are well established and so no one has patents for but to produce at scale would be very difficult to do. So first gen Nanoco sensors but Quantum Science aren't doing anything interesting?
Yep, solid. Nothing to see here but I'm happy they made reference to increased interest from OEMs for CFQDs for display again. It's usually a long and winding road from conception to mass adoption for new technolnogy. Just maybe the market is starting to head in the direction NANO imagined it would in the first place.
New client I asume Gotrader. Not heard the name mentioned anywhere before.
Microled is a future display technology - https://www.techradar.com/news/micro-led-tv
with some pretty big growth forecasts - https://www.marketdataforecast.com/market-reports/micro-led-market
IQE appears to be deeply embedding itself in the emerging field of microled display with the Prorotech partnership and now this one. Good progress.
Great update. I've previously expressed worry about the macro situation potentially disrupting roll out of cutting edge new technology such as STMicro's sensors. So far so unfounded :-)
Curious to hear of increased interest in the CFQDs. Some OEMs thinking of moving away from cadmium or covering their backsides in the light of the court case?
