I don't get it either, 610 participants, divided by say, 8 countries, divided by 3 trial sites per country, gives 25.4 participants per site. We already know we have at least 40 in the UK across 3 sites. Say we're getting 1% of hospitalisd cases enrolled in the trial. This should fill in weeks.
Yup, seems like they're slowly priming the public
Mrcosts: yeah we do know it works on all variants
Didn't the last Numis broker note suggest there was an outside chance of eua if the back of the p2 data? Hopefully that's something being pursued behind the scenes
Org, scroll all the way to the bottom
A long shot, I've got no idea how these things pan out, but maybe the yanks agreed to hold off on the sng news until our lot got all the positive vaccine PR out there.
Just a thought
Maybe it's Pmjh selling off the last of his holding?
1 is the volume, not the price
Thanks
I was actually going to say, only roads need wheels

But thought it was a bit tenuous
Do rockets have wheels?
Do we even have a journalist who is capable and has the balls to ask the right questions? I can't think of one, maybe Piers Morgan, they all seem to want play ball.
Wow, thank you for that,
I might need to read that one a few times, but really great insight.
Some good discussion here today.
The point I meant to make was, insurance have fingers in pharma pies
Thanks Welsh, its nice to know im not the only taffy on here.
great explanation, and I'm not refuting anything that you're saying, but we also need to consider how insurance companies are structured too, they don't just hold the premiums of their customers for when they get ill, insurance companies make their money by investing those premiums in hedge funds, its another risk management game.
We can only assume the insurance companies are investing in pharma, it's the game that they know and the perfect hedge against any outlays they're going to encounter.
CityTT, undoubtedly big pharma have fingers in pies, and without doubt the elected folk in parliament need to answer some questions, but you've also got to consider the kind of health system we have.
Our system is a public service, so preventing people getting sick and keeping them out of hospital, needing expensive treatments makes the most sense.
The yanks system is completely different, that's almost totally driven by the free market, big pharma are happy for people to get sick over there, because hospital stays and treatment = huge returns.
There's obviusly corruption on both sides, but I know which system I prefer.
I'm not sticking up for the government here either, we obviously need a mix of profalactics and treatments, choices that take into account public health, not just governed by the public purse.
Is this how internationally highly regarded scientists at the top of their field quietly, tactfully mutter, I told you so?
Trigger, that strategy is almost fool proof
Current price is guest list
He really is a class act, I've got every confidence in him and the team. The great Warren Buffett always says to invest in good management, I'm not too schooled on the technicals, but I know integrity when I see it.
Great post Sting
