Grateful to Max for showing steady support for Alien Metals (in spite of the many crazies on this board).
I've bought a little silver and a little platinum each month for the last several months so I was delighted to see platinum up 4% today. Precious metals are moving. At last.

Grateful to QBT for pushing upwards the past few weeks when no one else was, but this week there's competition: Argo is announcing quarterly results, Valereum Blockchain is rising after announcing their plan to buy 80% of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange, UFO (a metal miner) is moving up in line with sentiment about gold . . .
So Quantum Blockchain is not the only place to be . . . I've moved 2/3rds elsewhere today, but I've a feeling, as Arnie said, I'll be back.
Quantum Blockchain is the share firing on all thruster this autumn.

Is anyone else watching the precious metals price?
I find "usagold.com" is great for watching the price movement. It only stops for an hour each evening at about 10pm or 11 pm and then starts up again.
Right now gold is up nearly 1%, silver up over 1%, platinum up nearly 2% and palladium up over 2%.

YahooFinance yesterday quoted Jim Rogers (old and v rich American investor) on the 3 best places to put your money to survive the next bear market:
1. Silver (because it's half its all-time high)
2. Copper (because extra is needed for electric cars)
3. Agricultural land (because we will always need to eat).

Share price up 33% since Monday . . . Zak Mir is just the first of many market watchers to restart covering this share.
We are not mining for gold, but I'm happy to see gold has just passed $1800 per oz because it will pull silver up with it.

Islandgirl I agree our fundamentals are sooo much better now than this time last year.

I remember October very well.
I must admit I got fed up with the trickle downwards here and cashed in to make a quick buck elsewhere . . . and lost half of it.
Delighted to be back onboard with the remaining half! I read the idea in Kitco New this morning that gold and silver could double in the near future. and I was back in my UFO seat like a shot.

PS The only reason we are in the red today is because the Chinese government doesn't like crypto.
So, any ideas why they are against it?

Everyone on this board has invested in a Bitcoin miner, so everyone has got a vested interest in understanding what the biggest governments think of crypto . . .
I would like to hear best guesses (keep it simple) as to why the Chinese govt is anti-crypto.
(I can't make a best guess because I haven't got a clue.)

A good solid profit from Team17 once again. Congratulations to all the staff for the H1 results.

I think the sellers are assuming £8 is a high as this share is going right now.
They are underestimating Team17.

Sorry all, I can't count: Team17 launched in May 2018: that's THREE and a half years on the London Stock Exchange.
All the more reason for investors to catch up with it.
