Best morning I've had on the stock market in a long time.
Again, my respects to the management.

The RNS takes an upbeat view of the Donovan 2 copper/gold project in Mexico: although Capstone withdrew from the planned joint venture, they first carried out a"ground IP geophysical survey and 7 diamond core drill holes" (a little less work for Alien Metals!).
Clearly the management still sees value in the ground there.

Good to hear there's money in the bank.
Respect is due to the management.

I believe precious metals sank yesterday due to the US interest rate rise that's coming this afternoon . . . but they've all rallied this morning, before the interest rate has even gone up . . . you need to be 2 steps ahead nowadays, it's too much for me, but anyway:
gold, silver, platinum, palladium all back in the blue this morning.

In a gold rush, maybe short-term investors don't look as carefully as they should before they leap. Maybe.

I watched the share price of AIM metal exploration companies lifted sky high by the soaring gold price in 2020.
Don't underestimate what short-term opportunistic investors can do to the POG share price if gold decides to rocket.

Gold storms up 1.4% since 4 pm
Silver, platinum and palladium pulled along into the blue.

Gold up 1.2%, not in time to lift the share price but still good news.

Precious metals moved too late to lift the share price, but still good news that gold and silver are both up 0.8%.

Gold and silver having a pre-weekend push up . . . just in time to move UFO up to 0.8 for the weekend, with a bit of luck.

The recent upswing in precious metals has petered out . . . you wise Aliens on this chatboard were right to stay focused on UFO's iron ore.
Management is very good at keeping shareholders in the loop about progress towards market, respect to them.

I agree that profit in the bank, coming next Spring, will lift the share price; but I also believe that a rising gold and silver price between now and then will lift it too.
Check out the UFO price July to October 2020. We had no iron ore to take to market then.

Every photo of surface iron ore on the Alien Metals Twitter has brought a smile to my face, it's future riches, but I know it's 9 months to get it to market and that's a long time to wait in tight times . . .
So let's celebrate any metal moves that keep this share price rocking: gold up 0.7% right now, silver up 0.5%. And this is the third week gold and silver have pushed upwards.

Kheldar, my first big stock market loss was due to a stop loss: the share price fell below the stop loss, I was chucked off, and it bounced back up within a minute. I haven't used one since, they seem to wreck more ships than they save.

Hope so Daqman. I'm hanging in there for a while longer.
