Seems like there will be no buy back until the SP dips below 200p then it will kick in . I am pretty sure I am right with this and if that is the case how the hell are we supposed to go higher ?? Surely all this does is give the share price a floor . I can’t believe the upper buy limit has not been moved higher ? .
Great company results not far away . Recent low of sub 12 on the cards prior to results . For me that is a buy
There is no doubt about it that is a positive statement . This was being pulled down by doubt and worry that the audit might unearth all sorts of nasties. The next real catalyst for a massive 250 p plus re rate is the sale providing the reported £2 billion figure is on the money . Let’s go Wood
Yeah I am thinking that as well but for me the game changer is the environmental business. If that sale falls through or the amount is way off the proposed 2 billion then we will need arm bands as this will sink .
Come on Wood this news blackout is shocking almost 6 weeks since we heard there was a delay . No wonder the SP is drifting down .
Crazy prices but to be expected . Wood need to get there finger out and get something released to the market pronto. Ideally news of the big sale and audit complete.
I can’t find anything , News due any day on cladding so seems very likely .
The results must be due very shortly it has been almost a month since last announcement. We are just about into Q2 as well , so let’s hope for some positive news. I fully agree this is oversold .
Well said Karv. I agree this is bargain basement cheap at almost Covid lows. I fully expect the results in a months time still to be very good .
Month to next results. The housing market is still strong . This is super cheap almost at Covid lows
I agree wood sale due to complete in Q2 and is well under way . Results due in the next few weeks hopefully after the delay . Surely an update will be given then
The specific wording of this sentence means to me they have a buyer lined up and most probably a price agreed . Not long until Q2. This is the game changer
Surely we must get a peep soon as to when we can expect the results. As I said before I am pretty confident that we will be fine. If there are more losses than estimated then we are in trouble but I can not see it . Board have given a number and you have to believe it was at the very top end of what is expected
My thoughts are no board in there right mind would issue a profit warning relating to Poland and give a number which was later proved to be to low. Fingers crossed the sale is progressing as that is the game changer for me.
I am hopeful the results will be pretty good and hopefully Wood have got all the bad news out of the way last month and did not underestimate the potential cost. The key catalyst for me is any news on the proposed sale ?? I think someone has already mentioned the renewables side as well .
Sub 170 has got me onboard. Lots of potential upside from here with limited downside at this Mcap. Any idea when we will likely get the results ??
Let’s hope we have a better week , as it does feel like a stitch up for the PI at the moment and a kick in the teeth to long term holders . Trying to be positive and the numbers don’t lie with money in the bank
“ If we look at how all that translated into cash flows through the year, you can see on the left-hand side of this slide, the cash movements relating to that portfolio management. The special dividend, the inflows from the disposed UK assets, and
the acquisition of Egypt, which was roughly 55% debt funded. On the right-hand side, you can see that after capex, admin expense, and other costs, that resulted in net cash at year end of US$133 million, comprising US$314m of gross cash and US$181m of debt, which was arranged for the Egypt acquisition. Now, all of that is clearly prior to the receipt of the India proceeds, so if you adjust that pro forma for the India tax refund and settlement of the US$500 million tender offer that we've announced, that would be US$870 million of gross cash, or US$690 million of net cash of which US$200m has been allocated for a buyback program over time”
In black and white we have a Net cash position pre tender offer of 690 + 500 = 1.19 billion dollars or 920 million pounds . Pretty much all cash share price .
Finally got round to taking my time and working my way through the finals result transcript on the website.Firstly I am far happier after reading the transcript and I would encourage everyone to do the same. I still can’t work out why we are currently lower than money in the bank and there is undoubtably games being played . This share price is in no one’s interest and that is the confusing part
Fair post but we have to consider Egyptian production revenue ?? What do you think for the year ?? Also 76 million dollars from Waldorf Q2 to factor in .
