Regarding the flu epidemic though, I think that may be having a small effect here this week. It’s going to encourage people, especially the vulnerable and anxious, to stay away from busy supermarkets ahead of Christmas. So those people turn online, of which Ocado is an option. Could be some buying in anticipation of bumper results in January.

Declared shorts now down to 6.8%. Two decent reductions from Gladstone and Wellington on Wednesday, probably helped to drive the spike. Wonder if any increased again yesterday?

This happens time and time again with Ocado. The manipulation is off the scale, whether that’s before the release of results or to stop a rise. What is the rationale for a broker rating of 100?! These brokers can just say what they like to manipulate the SP one way or another.

For sure, it’s got nothing to do with the recent retail results like some claim on here. Maybe new contract coming, takeover rumour? Let’s see…all we can do is speculate at this stage.

Shorting this at sub £2 was always going to be high risk. Ocado was never going bust. To think Valueplay has twice now stated as matter of fact that shorting is the obvious choice immediately before this rise and also before the July rise that ultimately took this to the 390s just shows that these shorter folks are crooks.

That would be nice. Hopefully this Christmas rally has momentum.

That’s because the value isn’t in the retail, it’s in the technology. Ocado may be rising in market share but it’s still only occupying 2.2%. Tiny!! So probably only worthy of a small temporary bounce. Just need to wait until the company is actually profit making before a major and sustained rise in the SP.

I love a green box but I don’t need to see what JTwit is saying to know what he’s saying but other’s comments. The simple fact is that someone who is accurate and always right would never brag about it ALL the time because they don’t need to. The fact that JTwit keeps repeatedly doing so tells everyone all they need to know. End of. Ignore, filter and enjoy the 12% rise today and maybe again tomorrow folks.

Nice rise today yet it’s anomalously quiet on here. Just goes to show most posts recently are from wannabe shorters, who only post when the SP trend supports their narrative.
