The director buys and potential for many things to go wrong with the peace talks give me confidence that this is vastly oversold as it is and looks like we hit the bottom yesterday, so I’ve picked up some more at 12.8p this morning. Never thought we would see 12p again this year a month or so ago but the potential upside from here seems pretty significant to me. Let’s see what happens over the weekend. GLA!

The reality of the draining oil reserves is just being ignored. It’s just a matter of time!

So there is a deal to be signed that has been agreed by a number of Gulf countries, but not Iran…so who is signing this deal then?

The rhetoric from the White House is getting more desperate and is having less and less effect on the oil price.

There is a lot of whinging on here these days, so I rarely contribute. But after being invested in a number of small/junior companies, I have to say this is one of the best at keeping investors regularly informed of developments and actively encouraging investment. That is very encouraging as an investor, so just sit tight all you impatient folk. ROCK is doing a great job!

Looked like a good RNS to me but the SP reaction is very muted. Lower OP holding this back I guess. Hopefully there will be something of a rerate in the coming days.

Anton - once the oil bomb hits, JMAX will suffer the same fate as the dinosaurs when the asteroid impacted into the Gulf of Mexico. His deramping will become obsolete and he will go extinct.

TLW is very much a play now on a worst case oil scenario. I just don’t see how this mess is going to get sorted out. Trump could have effectively changed the world for the forseeable. Having some TLW in your share portfolio is a very sensible move going forward IMO.

Thanks TDDW and Lenin. Very informative. Despite the benefits to TLW, I don’t think anyone on here really would want a $150 oil spike or higher. Best to just sit back, let TLW pay off sizeable portions of debt and watch the SP tick higher.

I only have a small holding here now but intrigued to see how it plays out.

The Brent futures price baffles me. The straits are still not open. They’re not even close to opening. But yet any brief rise soon falls back to the low-mid 90s. Surely the situation with oil stockpiles is now far more critical than when Brent futures were $110!

The news has also been broken on a Friday which is perhaps not the best day for an appropriate market reaction. I would expect this to continue rising significantly on Monday.

Just a couple of chancers playing with their pocket money. Hopefully we’ve seen the back of them.

Probably never wise to have all your eggs in one basket, especially in something as volatile as TLW, but best of luck FewDollars!

My holding is about half the size now as it was pre-war…made some nice profits and holding the rest to see what happens in the coming weeks. The fact TLW is staying in the 16s is encouraging for me.

Slight shift in the narrative today - seems the US blockade will remain in place until a deal is reached and they are going to take time to get it right. Can’t see Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz this week then if the US blockade is going nowhere!

Also, both sides were so far apart with their previous points of understanding. To come to a deal, one side is going to have to make serious concessions and I can’t see that side being Iran. The uranium enrichment and nuclear weapon is still an outstanding issue that no-one has confirmed is being addressed. I still feel Trump is portraying rather too optimistic vibes about this one. Hold onto your hats folks. Not sure this is over yet…

Guess we are more likely to see 13p this week then than 20p. Oh well. Got to hang in till the 10th June to see what happens.

I have JMAX filtered, so don’t know exactly what he’s said, but it looks it’s the same old about TLW hitting a 52 week high when oil was $60 or something.

What he’a not telling you is that was related to a potential takeover by Meren energy, unbeknown to all of us at the time. The day it was announced by Sky that the deal had collapsed, the share price collapsed from the 52 week high.

So a comparison is totally irrelevant and a desperate ploy by a desperate deramper with little ammo left. Once we pass 21p, he won’t even have that repetitive argument at his disposal.

I like optimism but keep it realistic pal. A nice steady rise back to 0.2 would be appreciated. If it rises too quickly, it’ll just be a pump and dump again.
