Well said Carrington. Couple that with their attitude and poor grasp of English, I’d be amazed if they have made enough money in their lifetime to put into shares and have the intelligence to actually make money shorting a share. Just ignore and filter and your life will be greener :)

This board is becoming a shambles. Only a handful of posters actually post useful information.

Some on here have a very short memory. The SP has now backtracked to where it was before half year results. At that time, this board was dominated by similar posts from wannabe shorters. Then the SP rocketed to the 390s and miraculously they went quiet. This share is currently entirely sentiment driven and will be until the company turns a profit. The atmosphere on this board is similarly as polarised as the share price. It’s yet to be seen if the Kroger comments will have any real negative impact on OCDO and no-one can predict where the SP will go next. There is the potential for some good upside from here though, just waiting to springboard if any positive news comes through. A definite gamble for sure but worth a punt with any spare cash you can afford to lose IMO.

Isn’t the term “patient short” a bit of an oxymoron? It’s common for an investor to be patient and wait for the share price to rise, but shorters borrow shares and have to pay to rent them right? I’m no expert on shorting but being “patient” is surely costing you money renting the shares…

I’ve seen this situation before where someone gets so underwater with a share(s) that it seems to make them go somewhat insane with their posting…that’s QANTAS.

Got to agree with that unfortunately. TLW is high risk. It could pay off but it could also go down the pan. Don’t gamble what you can’t afford to lose on this.

Unfounded speculation. Not helpful. Got to say though, OCDO is once again living up to its reputation and testing the negative end of the spectrum.

But seriously - I feel there needs to be a catalyst to push the SP to the next step now. Sure it’ll probably drift up and down in the low to mid 300s but to reach 400, it’s clear there needs to be a development as the post-results momentum has run out of steam. Which hopefully will come in time. I’d be surprised if it went sub-300 again with improving fundamentals compared to last year but this is OCDO…

We’re going to get Valueplay back on here again soon at this rate, saying short is the only way to go and more profits to come blah blah etc.
