Apologies for pushing you on this 198 , but I’ m still trying to understand your stance on the ‘re-negotiation’ argument regarding the tax issue. Are you are now saying it’s an amendment.

Amending a contract means making specific, limited changes to an existing agreement — such as adjusting dates, prices, or terms — while keeping the rest of the contract intact. Renegotiating a contract, on the other hand, involves reopening broader discussions to redefine the overall deal, often because circumstances have changed, and can result in a substantially revised or entirely new agreement replacing the old one. In short, an amendment tweaks parts of a contract, whereas renegotiation reshapes the whole arrangement. Can you please explain what’s happening between PM and the Chinese. Are we really re-negotiating a whole new contract or just tweaking some wording ? I really respect your point of view but you I find your arguments with other posters somewhat confusing. I understand that the 821 figure quoted at Heron 1 was at natural lift, ie, presumably with no choke. Didnt see this figure for Gazelle.

Maybe MB has learned his lesson not to quote unsustainable natural flow figures, as he surely knows that the geology will never allow the full open flow to be achieved.

ADW, Gazelle didn’t peak at 460 BOPD, it was being choked at 1/4”.

Just been checking Heron 1 results which seem to indicate it flowed at 200 BOPD with a 0.3” choke.

If you do a bit of extrapolation on those figures it would suggest that Gazelle would have flowed at about 550 BOPD with a 0.3 instead of the 0.25 choke.

I’m not a natural ramper and also, like you wish to be a bit cautious but come on, this does seem very positive.

Bit more info on chokes. Smaller choke results in higher pressures maintained in the well, less flow, and less disturbance of sands etc down the hole. No choke results in more flow but less pressure retained and can damage casings, erode sands. You get the picture. So for any given well there is a ‘sweet spot’ depending on the exact make up, there is no one size fits all and decisions have to be made as to where to optimise the production rates.

Just noticed that my 2 top ups, one being just before market close yesterday and one this morning totalling nearly 400,000 shares are both showing as sells on the trades page. How can this be, does anybody have a good explanation please.
