This BOD has a well deserved reputation for bad judgement when it comes to advance payments for deals that don't stand up to scrutiny. Bllx. It's as clear as anything that Lidington went crawling to Steadman looking for a contract. Just the tiniest research shows that Lidington gave Steadman his first proper job back in 2003. Looks to me as if the action group didn't think there was much to the Big Sofa deal for anyone other than the Reynolds family and their mates. Can't say that I disagree with that view. Or was it the delay and waste of money of the pointless EGM they objected to? Can't wait to read the spin from a premium member with a direct line to reality or a former member of the group even.
