I think your understanding is pretty much correct. Personally, I would expect an announcement prior to 31st July as, if it is left until then, it could create a turmoil in the market and OPAY as a Company would not welcome this. Throughout it all they have acted very professionally for an AIM listed Company. I recall reading somewhere in the media comments that the new, enlarged OPAY/SKRILL company could be attractive as a takeover target itself. If this is true then I can't see any problem with the FCA decision now. US have approved and we always tend to follow their lead.
Due out any day now.
Thanks. I know what I am doing but whether or not it is right remains to be seen. I do like shares like this, ones with a story behind them that MMs can play. No profitability without volatility. With my original holding, the RI shares and a spread bet going on I'm about 8k up so far so, even if I am wrong, I can have no regrets. On this profit I'm working a 12% trailing stop loss. A bit big I know but until this gets to the main market the MMs will try their worst. Right or wrong it still beats the buy and keep your fingers crossed strategy! GLA, hang in there.
Like you I am expecting a future SP well in advance of 500 but I believe that, whilst still an AIM share, the MMs will have their fun. We saw it drop to the 220's for no reason at all except for the MM mind games to scare people into selling, selling at least their 166 RI shares for a small profit. Now, in the run in to the takeover announcement that, like you, I believe is a certainly, they are making their money. Once the announcement is released I would expect an SP rise to 290, may be even 300/310. I think that there will be a lot of profit taking then and MMs will use that to walk the price down so that they can fill their boots ready for the FTSE 250 entry and the funds buying in. If this all turns out to be right I will be selling on the take over announcement and buying back in after the drop. Even if there is no drop I can't complain as I am quids in anyway.
Momentum growing. http://www.investegate.co.uk/quantum-pharma-plc--qp--/rns/acquisition-of-nupharm-group---new-bank-facilities/201507140700139270S/
Correction - based on today's trading statement INCREDIBLY cheap IMHO. Would expect to see that NT has bought back in now.
242 would be nice but first we need to make a sustained break over the 180 mark. IMS due mid August so that may help barring other news.
Expect a holdings RNS in the next few days as someone wanted to get in on the cheap?
IMVHO the MMs are obviously playing this one for all they can get at the moment. They will need a large stock of shares for when the FTSE250 Main listing is achieved in order to satisfy the demands of the II Funds. Because we are still AIM listed they can get away with just about anything. Remember, their way of making money is to cause panic by driving the SP down for whatever reasons they can think of (Greece, Chine etc). They will buy all they can get at these prices and hold them for a few months before releasing them back onto the market at a much higher price. Patience is the key here and don't fall for their games.
Plus the fact that a trading update is due in a couple of weeks. This is really cheap at the moment IMHO taking into account cash and profits.
Will explain all the buys this afternoon
Got on board today with a few k's worth. Wasn't too sure about the AGM statement but as it had no negative effect on the SP I hope this can rise back up to where it should be. Once over the exchange rate problems, which will come, swings and roundabouts, the profitability herein should shine through IMHO. GLA
Already over 20% up on this having transferred profits from VEC (still holding original investment there though). Missed out last year with SKP when I thought I'd missed the boat but intend to average up on dips here. Any Company is only as good as the man at the top and this guy appears BIG and confident.
Less than 20k shares traded and MMs drop the SP by almost 4%. Criminal and a joke!
There you go, he's dumped another 15k. I just have a feeling this is going to pop soon but which way? Surely he must be in the know so why dump 2.5m shares? SP when he got them in Jan was 30.50ish and he's selling from 20odd p up. Did he get them cheap? SP's holding fairly well so far despite all this though which gives cause for hope.
I'm more than hopeful. Ever the optimist but someone, somewhere, is hovering up Mr Rameson's sells and at asking price. He's halved his initial holding of 4.6m in the past couple of months and some BIG buys have gone through in the last 48 hours. I'd expect a holdings RNS later today or tomorrow then we'll see where the confidence lies.
TS due out shortly, end of this week, beginning of next. No real need to wait for it is there? London Capital Sieve Group's SP performance should tell us what's in it well in advance.
Still, nice to see that Charles-Henri managed to grab 175k 'on the cheap'.
