I tend to agree that 200k is a relativey small amount.
Maybe it was a political gesture to stabilise the share price.
Even so, it may have the desired effect.
Time will tell!

He paid 1766p.
Me and bitbybit paid 1745p and 1744p.
At least we bought below him but I guess he got an inflated price for the volume 11251 shares.

Just about everyone I know now gets groceries delivered online and can't see them going back to weekly shops to a bricks and mortar supermarket.
Also as the demographic slants to an older population this will grow further.
The main opportunities for Ocado are international for their technology.
Their charging model for their international supermarket customers is very much loss leading with profits to roll in a few years down the line.
This may put some investors off but will generate dividends ( literally) for those with a longer time horizon.

Held Kainos for a while now and this investment has quality long term investment written all over it. Holding it in my SIPP and will outperform most shares over next 5-10 years with limited risk.
Ethically run company and dome very clever employees in Northern Ireland.
Don't get shaken out by short term events or negative comments on any BB.

I've read through all his posts.....from my experience of investment BBs (primarily iii) there is always one. A lot of hot air and no content. I've filtered him also.

The markets love to "shake the tree" to force weak bulls to sell. As someone whose been on a few BBs over the years its interesting to see the panic on here over the weekend, which is pretty standard from amateur traders. The fire started midday Friday and had largely been priced in.
I've bought on my technical understanding of their warehouse systems together with a very weak FT100 and panic sellers fleeing the ship.
Onwards and upwards now!
