After the recent gyrations and testing of the 38.2% fib level at 1780p, which was broken but regained, we need the price to stabilise at 1850 before another leg higher to 2000p.
This ensures anyone short term trading long from sub 1800 levels has had a chance to sell out and tberefore we are left with very few short term sellers in the market.
Also buyers on the sidelines will start to buy if they see the volatility is over.

I don't know anyone who has swapped online to going to our new Aldi 15 minute walk down the road.
Also service is poor and big queues at checkouts as they only open 2-3 of the 8 checkouts and no selfervice at all.

They have opened within walking distance of my house.

Onwards and upwards

1780p as I mentioned in a previous post is the (very) long term 38.2% fib. retracement from all time highs.
The price may dance around here for a while but it's critical we don't break down below this level much, say no more than 1720p.
Fingers crossed that we can move above 1800 in the coming days.
Wouldn't be surprised if the city boys play for a while around this level.

I believe the rise is due to an extremely positive trading update from Next.
Ocado does sell clothes also!
Clothe retailers in general on the up.

Time for "Diamond Hands".
The close was very weak so we'll have to see what tomorrow brings.
1720 is fairly key as a support.
Would like to see 1780 regained by the end of the week.
I may be ordering Fanta rather than Bollinger from my Ocado man this week.

I never log an automated stop level. I simply have the level in my head and sell manually if it is breached.
Markets love to spike prices down so I wouldn't sell manually if it looked like a manipulated spike down.

I have two long term Uk tech companies. Ocado and Kainos.
Over a 5-10 year term I would expect Kainos to petform better for the same or even lower risk than Ocado.
Kainos are always good on a pullnack and I've held them for a couple of years from a great low price. One that I will never sell.
Of course any company can go belly up so always do your own redearcj of course.

Markets are all about shaking people out and hunting down stops.
Once people realise this trading is a lot easier.
The big spreadbet companies have screens where all the major stop loss levels are for their customers.... or should I say victims.
You just have to play them at their own game.
I suspect Ocado may get blipped sub 1750 to take out tight stops just below a round number then magically the price will recover.
I never let the city see my stop levels but operate them totally manually.

I see 1745 as bottom price from here.
We saw 1720 yesterday but not revisited IMO

The fib traders love to test the 38.2 level!
A break either up or down will be decisive in the direction of the future trend.
My instinct is upwards starting a leg up to surpass the old highs in a year or two.
Having said that, no one really knows so we will have to wait and see.

It's relevant that the 38.2% Fib retracement from the highs just under 2900p comes to around 1780p.
I don't use chartism much but fibs do seem to be used by the city boys.
This retracement can correlate to a bottoming out, which is another reason I bought at 1745p.
