RE: Possible or not?14 Sep 2017 09:26
Im in here for the long term, been holding for 9 years and must say I'm quite excited of the future prospects. Everything being discussed is all very questionable and debatable but it's good to hear everyone else's opinion, good or bad, time will tell.
I was here the last time they owed a significant amount of money and I remember then the same debate and the debt was paid off very quickly when gedebek first went into production. I can now see the same happening over the next 12 months. Even if they make one third of the profits I mention, if they start to pay a dividend of let's say 5p per share which is not impossible, this would give an amazing yield at current sp, so something in the future will have to change, either sp goes up to balance the yield to around 5-6%, or no dividend and further expansion. We can't take anything for granted but my guess is in the long term Mr Vaziri will want a return on his holding and dividends will ultimately be the best way, the other long term option would be if state run Azergold decide to make an offer to take full control, this would be a significant premium to today's price I'd expect.
With regards to all the other points raised, they are all valid and we can only put our trust in the management and hope they continue to prove the doubters wrong.
