& in fact to correct my own post Lenigas 'retired' (as it was referenced) from all 5 of his AIM Co's on 21st Dec 2015 & Suckling was immediately appointed to take his place - the BCN farce (IMO) didn't occur until September 2016 ...

Lenigas 'retired' in 2015 & Suckling took over as Chairman later that year we didn't try to merge with with BCN until mid 2016 as I recall so Lenigas 'officially' should have had nothing to do with it ... but knowing how much of a 'Friend' he was with the BoD who knows .... Kiran who was CEO at the time (& on the board of BCN) claimed he knew nothing of the takeover bid if you believe that.

If you're going to post 'history' it needs to be correct

Sooner preferably, I reckon the biggest problem for AIM punters is knowing when to sell for fear of missing out on the 'Top' - a sale of the company solves that problem completely, a sale of the asset would be very helpful of course but the company (for a truly asset reflective price) more so 😁

I'd love for us to be bought out for a realistic value ASAP ...

@LukasK - the best way to ensure the least public objection to something is to keep them in dark about it as much as possible I would think!!

Maybe the time to make all the noise about its value & scale is after all the potential hurdles & objections have been made by the smallest group in the know with the ability and permissions to proceed in hand and no longer subject to challenge... just a thought 🤔

.. Jimb from memory I believe it was fairly common knowledge that we were & are shipping material on behalf Geralds Metals who had claim over a large ore stockpile(s) after it went into administration - I would say Geralds have been using us to organise shipments purely for recovery rather than lining themselves up for a buy out - I do not expect any interest from them in respect to either investing in or buying out us or the Amapa project - rather they just want what to recover what they can - hence why they've been continuing shipping through when ore prices have been somewhat depressed.

I suspect a buy out is more likely to come from our offtake/Azteca partner than anyone else for a whole host of reasons not least of all because I think I'm pretty sure about who it is - but will not say here ....

Hmmm perhaps EV however we're kinda in a bit of a unique & slightly outside of the norm position in that generally junior minors:

a) need to raise to complete a DFS - we don't.

b) often have no income on the horizon for years into the future other than via expensive & dilutive raises/loans etc until DFS completion, funding,, building, mining, offtakes etc etc - we do in fact within months!.

To my mind this puts us in a position where we 'should' trade at better than the 'usual' for a junior miner at this juncture.

Of course one of the problems we have is historic performance & trust, in my opinion if we can get beyond that then we'll see greater belief & more SP value.

Just my musings though ... 🤔

...to be fair maybe ones coming maybe one isn't maybe related to Cenia publication or something else ... Cenia publication is only part of a recognised process & whilst it's good that it's published it doesn't actually change anything at this time nor is it actually unexpected, more a relief for many who might have doubts ... so is it even RNSable?

It's progressing as wanted, might even provide a potential exit for me as the Jun deadline approaches 😁

LoL ... seriously though I also think we're a different investment prospect now (unless they find another rainbow to chase 😂) & I think the type of investor(s) we might gain aren't necessarily those that jump in & out at the drop of a hat - so I'm thinking it may be a couple of days yet before we see any more upward movement.

Still really got my fingers crossed for a buy out of either the project or the company for a realistic 'Amapa related' value ... but that might not happen until the DFS is complete,v which of course will now be funded without dilution.
