I'm down (on paper) on my last two trades by 26% here......I won't lose money......always well up on all trades as I am here....unless the company goes bust first!

Just a matter of holding and topping up from time to time.....then watch the rise....trim and take some profit.....rinse repeat.....simple really....lol!

.....and took another 60k @ 9.04a.m. besides & again at 4.1p (although this trade is absent like many)......actually could make a small profit now from these trades...but I'll hold one for 5p....and the other can be added to my CORE holding for future!

As you know......my style is to buy and hold...until I can take some profits....but hold a core....in a portfolio of shares...Only ever made profits in Lex....and I expect to carry on with that! Hence managed a top up 60k @ 4.1p negotiated...I couldn't get 4p..lol.

As a LTH HarChris I agree......the ST Trader part of me aires on the side of caution......could be a 15% or so retrace in POG......which could hit these juniors hard enough over the next few weeks.......that would be the opportunity to top up hard.....and I have the "dry powder" to do just that....if the opportunity arises? If not will reassess early to mid Feb....I expect....GLA

I don't really know why the M/C has dropped so far below fairly constant NAV over the years...and with min. debt and Cash in hand it itself is due a turnaround even b4 recent news....have held since May '23 so I'm still down circa 20%......but what a turnaround....happy to hold to see what happens next 2 weeks or so...

Been here since the MCR days but specifically the last 4 years with 14 trades in ECR....and barely made money....so yes I've topped up today, but only the block I sold yesterday at 33.7p bought back 20% cheaper.........not the block I sold last week at 31.77p

So overall still holding 55% of my long term Core........but that's it!

My overall confidence in the BOD has been dented........let's hope that improves!

Well this profit taker is still holding but also sold chunks since yesterday at 117p,96p @ 103p.......buys at 87p,93p 98p! Happy with profits. Isn't that the objective!

Today resold at 96p then rebought at 93p (£24.50 for curry and beers? lol)....this block now still in profit by 6p a share since close....so far!

Core holding about evens...let's revise PM??

IMO Based on gold @ $3k for TK only SP should be:-

3p now

5p 2027

8p 2028

11p 2029

Double all of that with gold @ $4k and add VAT? (lol) for Saudi assets??

SP could easily be 50p in a few years with appreciating gold price.....if we get to keep our company in it's current form which is unlikely of course.

Regardless we should "ride" well here for the foreseeable!

I would certainly welcome the ability to have buy/sell timeline in hours to take profits......lol.... reality differs however!

The headwinds we encounter e.g. shares, AIM in particular, regulation, BOD competence, capital raise/dilution, investor sentiment/perception, inflation (just wait 'til real consumer price inflation kicks in against £GBP).....one can't afford to be sitting and hoping at 3p per share here purely "hugging & holding"......the SP should have been over £1 by now just to keep level....

....you need to be trading!!!!!....just to stay static value in real terms....unless you're continually throwing future earnings at your investment pot....

Copper et al as highlighted in the title above measured against $US is proving this....and doesn't it depend what you measure against........

I still don't put Trek or me in this category MTSparky......as holders we always want the share to rise....the trading is the by product to take short term small profits. I tend to wear pink glasses more often than I should. but the BOD's handling of this with the news blackouts cannot be ignored. I used to so trust them even with my large OXUS loss. I don't anymore, sad to say....and JT (Righton) so quiet too........I'm still investing for the phoenix rising out of the ashes day......surely the BOD will eventually pull the rabbit out of the hat or????? LOL.

still always happy to judge a low entry point and take 20% odd profit on a part sell of my holding....all day long!
