RE: Where are the orders18 Jun 2020 10:16
Skins, TPG are a great value business. They not only have major contracts with the MOD and the European space agency but have a 40 year history of developing electrolysers for producing oxygen for submarines. I am not sure how long they have moved towards the use of the electrolysers for the use in the renewable sector but they certainly have the client base to develop modular system for generating hydrogen for storage from wind and solar systems. The recent achievement was related to medical grade oxygen which is now under further development with interested parties. The significant thing here is that when they produce oxygen they have fuel cell grade hydrogen as a by product.
Todays RNS demonstrates the resilience and diversity of the £65m MCap business receiving E18m of orders for Sapienza which was a recent addition to the group. Very diverse business, well funded and actually profitable. Unusual for an aim business. Can never work out why a business like this sits with such a low MCap in comparison to others in similar sectors. Also not a one trick pony having multiple business streams including defence, space and oil and gas engineering as well as the buzz sector of hydrogen and renewables. Last year turnover was almost £60m.
Would love to see AFC with that level of revenue and a full order book
