Hopefully the Con candidate will feed the good work back to Boris and when he wins the election next week he will give AFC an grant to cover all the money they have spent to this point t on developing it. They haven't had anything from the UK yet so it's about time they step up and support green tech like this

Agree Chippyjo, also important is that the EV charger which now had a name and TM is just one of the applications for the unit. The same system, nothing EV charger disguise could be used for onsite power generation or off grid backup power. As they release larger systems the market potential will also increase. Not just for EV' but all off grid power or generation requirements.

I will say it again. As this is now a commercial product launch presented to 'customers' I would really like to see a sale of at least 1 unit confirmed from today after 12 years of hard work by the team at AFC.

It has been a long time coming but hopefully they can start to build a commercial business from today and keep R&D in the background developing better and better products.

I would like to think that there has been commercial discussions with customers already. I would also like to think that once the product has been demonstrated that AFC would receive at least 1 order today regardless of size. They are now stating product launch which means we should anticipate sales. What better time to do this than directly after a stage presentation and demo on the day of the launch.

Every day they make themselves look more ridiculous with little to no effect on the SP. To think they actually believe that they would have an impact anyway.

Plug in hybrids are great for emission reduction in short journeys, dropping the kids of at school, shopping, gym etc. No need to use gas, just plug in and recharge the battery. The only way to recharge the battery without plugging in is by not using the electric motor. It cannot discharge and recharge at the same time. On a long journey the emissions and fuel economy are as good as the Petrol equivalent. Plug in EV’s really come in to their own when used on shorter journeys and running in purely electric. Great if your office is 10-15 miles away. You can get to work and back in a BMW 330e on a single charge. No need for using the petrol engine to recharge just plug in. My office has a number of charge points for the plug in hybrids and full EVs They are always fully utilised by staff.

With increases like this for EV’s it wouldn’t take long before they have a market share like Diesel or Petrol vehicles. Many businesses are offering EV’s as a company car option to promote ‘green’ business but also this is being taken up by employees for the reduced BIK rate seen on this type of vehicle. Even considering one myself next time round

‘Plug in’ hybrids are definitely plug in. They can also recharge but we have a number of them up my road and they are always ‘plugged in’

That is not hydrogen blend as that is already underway. It is 100% hydrogen.

beachandsurf, don't get me wrong, I am not expecting anything big just initial sales. This was the reason for the fund raise at 20p. To facilitate initial orders. I am also not expecting a unicorn valuation to happen within the same period.

Patience. I have plenty as do all LTH. That does not mean we should not see a steady increase in the valuation of AFC based on the IP, initial sales and future potential sales based on the markets entering in to and the size of all the markets. This is not based on fuel cell it is based on replacement of existing technology. Disruptive tech industry. Back up power, generators, EV, Alkamem, static power, shipping and transport.

doc7, I have also had moments with a severe lack of faith and interest in AFC. As you said in the post, the timing seems to be perfect. It's not been an easy 10 year hold but I have always held the belief in the product they hoped to deliver. I think they are there now.

With Alkamem and hydrox cell for starters, years of development to create not just a green product but one that is commercially viable AFC could actually be the next unicorn business. There are certainly others with these valuations that perhaps do not deserve it as much as AFC. The only proviso being that we do make some needed sales of either in the next 6 months.

Please. No. Not back again. Regurgitating the same old crap. They really haven't got a grasp of what AFC are doing. Why only now they are commercialising a product or two as the case may be. Have they mentioned the EV charger market yet ? Do they not realise that AFC do not have an EV charger, they have a fuel cell system that can produce energy for the EV charger. It's the EV charger market that is interested in the AFC product. Can't think why that would be ?

As for Alkamem. That is a completely different thing. Doesn't require any real outlay just licensing fees. Not many fuelcell companies have that. In fact I am not sure of a fuel cell company that can compete on cost with the AFC system.
