From the last satellite photo on the 5th January it looks like the ponds are not filling up so fast compared with 10 days earlier .

The next image is due on the 10th let’s hope for a clear day.

Even though the situation from those images looks like the aquifer has been depressurised, that doesn’t mean to say they can continue with the Decline.

Shaun said they were going to complete the vent raises and drives, plus install the Evasee fan on the surface. There will also be blast curtains to install to direct stale air through the vents up to surface.

They’re possibly at the point where the air coming in through the Decline is insufficient and the fan needs installing.

It’s going to be a large fan but whether we will be able to see it from the satellite images I’m not so sure, the Sentinel one is not that detailed.

As far as the Byrnecut contract is concerned, there’s no guarantee yet that they will proceed at Havieron. Will NEM bring in their own preferred contractor ? I doubt it personally , it will be a big disruption , they’ve been at Telfer for years.

If they haven’t reached the base of the Permian cover by the end of their contract the Production Decline contract will take over and keep going down.

There will possibly be another contractor in place to construct the stoping infrastructure and start ore production but the venting infrastructure has to be in place and working by then before approvals can be obtained for ore extraction.

Going to be a busy 6 months and then get busier.

You just can’t compare Havieron with any other mine , the last 4 or 5 years you class it as feeling their feet in the planning , design, infrastructure stages.

MREs are normally conducted at PFS and FS stages, at Havieron we had some very heavy politics to deal with , firstly the 5% clause and secondly the Newmont takeover.

You have to commend Shaun for bringing us through all these horrendous shenanigans.

Nobody knows what this orebody is going to throw at Ggp/us next.

I haven’t heard any body say it was obvious that the reserves would not be announced in the MRE, you are putting words in other peoples mouths.

Shaun knew there were certain shareholders clammering for the release of the MRE, he said he might release one in the December quarter if Newcrest doesn’t issue one last August. It was obvious to me that most of you do not know what or how MREs are used for. It’s to assist in a mining plan I’ve said that over and over, a mining plan needs the reserves data, an FS needs a mining plan and a reserve figure.

Therefore I suggested it should wait to be released with the FS.

Your logic has confused me. You’re saying you have invested in Solgold but you don’t want Ggp to have Telfer because of the time to get to revenues.

Cascabel could be 10 years away from what I can see, I maintained for a few years now that Solgold were too small to go it alone.

Revenues will come out of Havieron whether we have 30,70 or 100% on similar timelines, so for Ggp to have 100% would give huge revenue stream and control which is a huge benefit.

In the old mining plan there was an exploration decline right into the centre just into the ore body. Last March the new design wasn’t connected to it, so I am unsure what the intentions are now.

Two options:-

First one is as the old plan down from the top.

Second one wait until the Decline is lower and go in from the side.

I would have thought by the end of the year or early next. This phase of drilling will not get to the deep stuff, it will be a continual case of phased fan drilling all the way down.

I would just like to say that I attended his funeral yesterday it was very well attended, he had a lot of friends.

Well that note really showed up the infant state of the thinking around the shape , size and constituents of the ore body.

The Link zone not really understood is new and still evolving you can see in the slide of the opvm graph.

At Stroud in my slide show I showed that the sulphides have had to come up from below there was no gap zone, they were still looking for the tail.

They still haven’t showed a tail even today.

Now take a look at that note.

Link zone has a NSR $80.

That’s the same as the sulphides suggesting the tail is in there , sections of it are going to increase.

The Eastern Breccia will follow suit but at this moment is still too deep.

Havieron is still evolving, no matter how fast you want answers at this moment in time these unknown factors are effecting decisions and nothing will change that. The orebody information will keep changing.

The reserves were always due to come with the mine plan and FS.

Shaun issued what he could to keep some shareholders quiet, to give them what they wanted.

You can’t have it both ways, you couldn’t expect him to issue something then accuse him of not issuing it. Some of you were really unreasonable when not really understanding the process of what an MRE is all about and how it is put together .

I wouldn’t call it bankable more of a huge derisking event, where financial institutions will see an investable project

I think Shaun explained the situation very well with the MRE.

The geologists have submitted a resource estimate and now we are waiting for a reserve estimate.

I kept on about this MRE would be immaterial to the share price and I got a lot of flack about that and I stated many times I would prefer the MRE to come out with the FS.

Well they’ve given you what you wanted but it wasn’t the whole story and that will be coming with the FS.

The reserves figure is the main and only figure that really counts and this is coming. It controls the mine plan.

This plan is likely to be revealed when the government approves the revision to the referral. This will come prior to the FS similar to the PFS, it’s due , it could come out at anytime.

My personal favourite thing to happen this year is for Newmont to say to Shaun “ you have the 75% and we will have 25% of Telfer/ Havieron if you except the reinstatement costs” 🙂

it’s the chemistry involved with processing titanium that’s very difficult. titanium reacts with oxygen very easily so you have to remove the oxygen by adding chlorides to turn into titanium tetrachloride. reagents are added either mg or sodium and heated in a ceramic furnace in an argon atmosphere the reagents are left in the **** leaving titanium.

burning titanium in air, it will catch alight and pouring water on it will make it burn more.

you need to research titanium dioxide, a mineral banned by the eu and uk from last august. a substance that has been widely used in toothpastes , gives the white colour.

another substance in toothpaste is the sls which is now banned i think which is the foaming agent.

very hard to find a toothpaste without these 2.

one is c****nogenic the other goes through the gums into the nervous system and affects the brain.

I know you’re supposed to make a wish but so going to happen here soon I didn’t know what to wish for first.

There’s a few licenses with modelling being worked on any one of these could drop in first.

I couldn’t think which would be first I suspect it will be Atlantis but they may not issue that without Stingray and Decca. I think those latter 2 will take time.

Scallywag will also take time if they’re interlinking the deep MT survey with the latest drilling results.

Strickland has to be high on the list and won’t be far away hopefully the heritage work must be near completion.

Canning could be the front runner if they have done that deep MT survey there linking it up with the historical consultant report.

Pascalle has been on the back burner for sometime, modelling may be well advanced.

They’ve been working at Panorama hopefully new modelling may be issued in the coming weeks.

EG they only finished drilling before Xmas so not expecting any modelling just yet.

Ones I’ve not heard about is Bromus, Juri jv, rest of Rio jv, Citadel Hill and Ashburton/ Yennarie.

Going to be action packed few months as no drilling programme has been announced yet.

Just remember they only need to reduce the water pressure not completely dry the aquifer out.

I’m waiting for the satellite image that shows the refilling taking longer , therefore showing the pressure is dropping.

The raise bore drilling rig was due to Telfer a month or so back, so hopefully is at Havieron now. The 2 vents to do aren’t very long and the drives to them must be nearly ready.

I would think a couple of weeks for these, the water pressures should be gone by then.
