Often shareholders of AIM listed companies complain that directors don't have enough of a holding. Here the CEO has enough that he's been able to do what he wants, whether that means checking out for months or shifting potential benefit to his family co. We have no realistic recourse. AIM just sucks.

What are the odds that, soon after the SIG gets hold of Parris' stake, there'll be issuance of a huge number of new shares at a very low price. It'll be announced on a Friday after close (I've seen this done on Xmas eve). If we have any opportunity to buy, that will end at noon on the Monday. The shares will only be available through a difficult to access channel. We will be wiped out completely. The SIG will take the new shares.

And this will be after Sabien has given up its interest in bgr via some shady legal process, perhaps to close the debts owed to Parris/Parris Group/bgr.

With all the potential upside he's locked into the family co, doubtful Mr Parris would step down.

True Porky. It's facts that count. Fact is that Val's US attorneys are doing their house keeping for the US patents for 201. it wasn't just a poa that was filed, but I'm sure you know that. Why go to the bother and expense now? That's the question.

I have narrowed the possible patent applications down to two from those that can be found online.

Clearly, whatever patents have been sought are very young (filed in 2020 at the earliest) and so have a very, very long time to run (2040-2045). Val has done very well to get their hands on this potential treatment at such an early stage. The patent applications has so far been well received by the patent examiners. All this bodes very well!

There would be no problem raising a few million against the patents and licences. As Agricore says, it is simply inconceivable that funds could not be raised this way. Does anyone seriously think that a big pharma would not pay a few million, probably >£10m, for these??

STX has funds for a while, probably until Q3/Q4 2022 at least, depending on H1's US sales and other factors. I'm not sure what milestone payments and royalties are expected in respect of H1, but there was over £12m in the bank as of 31 Dec. A mortgage could be obtained in a time frame of weeks.

Wonder if the candidate molecule relates to a patent application submitted by the Japanese University entitled: METHOD FOR SCREENING ANTICANCER AGENT AND COMBINATION DRUG OF KINASE INHIBITORS FOR TREATMENT OF PANCREATIC CANCER.

The document ties in with pancreatic cancer and more loosely with bile duct cancer mentioned in the RNS. No mention of endometrial as far as I can see.
