Not the bright start to the week I was hoping for. Seems like the drift has set in and it’s gaining momentum, but how low can it go???

Just giving my views on this - it will all work out in the numbers eventually. If all is good and profits are back then we will see the price rise again, the drop is down to nothing but world news and not NEX news. That is why we just have to hold out and all will be good. It might just take a bit longer than we would like, and it’s not pleasant reading watching your pot drop day after day!

We are in a better place but with the vaccination program slowing down in the US there are still lots of people at risk of becoming seriously ill. Cases are spiking and it’s causing a lot of nervousness around what’s next with winter looming too. I’m here for long term and have a large holding, it’s not nice watching the drop given the comfort we had bouncing around at 300 - 320 just a few months back.

Just looked through latest COVID stats from US and UK - and it’s not nice reading. The US seems to be being particularly bad as hospitalizations and deaths continue to rise. Looking at that it’s no surprise that the share price is plummeting, and makes you realize that although we like to see investments increase there are many many people still struggling healthwise - sometimes I think we need to put things in perspective about what’s important.

I have been continually optimistic about NEX given the mix of contracts, geographies, government support, cost reductions, ending of restrictions in UK, etc. but think that until a dividend is reinstated it will get bucketed with all other travel stocks (good point earlier on checking out how this performs against others by assidall). It’s not pretty at the moment but if you have the cash it’s time to load up as it will come out leaner and stronger.

Agree, but wanted/expected a little Monday pick up to get the week going. Still confident but the CEOs buy a while back would’ve been a good vote of confidence but seems to have been on a steady decline since.

I’ve really got to stop checking this everyday and just come back in 6 months time! Every time I check it slowly drifts down a little bit more! It’s all about the mid- to long-term with this one!

Climate lockdowns….well that’s a new one! We are all welcome to view our own opinions and I appreciate different perspectives, but I’m somewhat skeptical on this idea and believe that these results are a great effort by the team at NEX. They have managed the business well during this difficult time and will come out stronger in the long term - might just take another 18 months or so but I’m here for long term so all good.

Finally something to smile about, lovely to see a rise after the prolonged fall! Now onwards and upwards with results just round the corner - just a shame didn’t have any more money to put in!

Thank you both for your comments, and good to hear differing information and ideas on the way this has been moving. As I say, I’m not a trader and invested here for the longer term as all the fundamentals look good. Let’s hope for some positive trading news at the end of the month and the restrictions lifting in the UK soon.

At least I’m not alone in my thinking. With more routes coming on, the government providing further assistance, a diversified set of operations, strong balance with contact business to provide firm foundations - I thought it would be a slow but steady climb. Interested for other views as I’ve clearly missed something major for this recent prolonged decline.

I’m relatively new to this game but everyone says about how the market is not priced for today but the future. Surely the future looks bright for NEX - diverse operations around the world, government backing in the UK, strong contract business….am I missing something something causing this sustained drop? Would appreciate any views or other information I may have missed

So much positive news with contract wins, vaccine role outs, rober acquisition but this continues to drop! I’m
here for the long term and a big believer but this is crazy. Any views on the week ahead?

Well I was hoping for a bit of positive news but drops even more. Here for long term and bought in at 1.40 and then more recently at 3.07, as thought it looked like a great recovery play. We are now near a price when UK was seeing over 50000 cases a day despite positive Q1 results, contract wins, etc - I’m holding for the long term but this is just crazy and shame don’t have any spare change to buy the dip!

It has gone quiet but all the signs are good with reopening in major markets. I’m in for the long term and agree that once we get Q2 results come in we will see more confidence. All in on NEX so just hope I’m right!
