Just heard on our socialist media that American young people are turning out in big numbers to vote early. Not sure who they are voting for....but I guess it bodes well for democracy.

I saw what happened in Britol differently. To me it was wonderful....almost poetic.

I don't agree that the history should be erased however. Just that these people - whose wealth was built on misery - should not be glorified with statues in prominent sites and buildings named after them. Rename the buildings. Put the statues in museums with information about slavery and a big sign above it saying: "This is the statue of a slave trader"....and also a video of the statue being tore down & dumped in the harbour by angry Bristolians (in this case).

Eddie, 100% agreement from me. Too many guns, held by too many angry people (guns are selling like hot cakes in some states).
Plus there is someone in control who takes pleasure in stoking up fear & division for what seems political gain. Hopefully organisations like FBI will be able to keep a lid on things (on both sides) and let peaceful democracy win.

PS: Got a newsflash this morning that some far right guy from Texas was arrested by FBI for trying to stoke violence at a BLM protest. So it appears that the authorities in US are aware of the problem and are ready to take action (if necessary).

A narrow Biden win could well end in violent clashes...and certainly at the Supreme Court. The danger is that an unpredicatble president may not accept the outcome no matter how big the margin of loss and will want to go down fighting. He's already got people 'on standby' hasn't he!!

Two wrongs don't make a right. And one cannot appease ones conscience by saying that others were as equally bad. It is rather sad that you search for ways to justify the crimes of our past. Slavery was/is inhuman. In any time or place it is wrong.

So, in theory we should know in approximately a years time whether MED3000 does what it says on the packaging (headline results).

PS Contraindicated patients will of course not be included in the trial...but they aren't the target patient for MED3000.

Personally I don't have much contact with BLM. But the sight of Bristolians dumping the statue of some long dead slave trader in the harbour was the greatest thing I've seen for many years. Wished I was there!!

If TRMR has a SP of £2 when the PE is circa 13, then 5 times that would be £10 next year!!!

People seem to be writing Trump off...I wonder if that is a mistake. A close election - especially a close Trump loss - will end up at the Supreme Court. Could get very messy, very nasty, very quick.

Hopefully TRMR is fairly immune to any political turmoil in the states.

People have been burned before with FUM waiting for a promised pharma deal that never materialised....perhaps 'people' are waiting for the deal - with an upfront payment to fund the trial - in order to derisk any investment.

I'm sure the spread has been discussed before....bound to be someone who knows why the spread is so large but it does make reaching a profit very difficult. Guess it is penny stocks with low volumes, the market makers keep the spread large to earn their dough.

Will be interesting to see if the spread narrows after the 100:1 consolidation.

Odysseus, you have included yearly running costs of £4 million (added to £3m trial cost), that seems very high. I didn't know FUM's running costs are that high....or have you factored in a big payrise for JB and Ken?

£2-3 million trial cost would be more than I expected, not that I have any knowledge other than it sounds like a lot for 'only' 100 patients.

I'm not sure a single commercial partner is going to hand over £2 million in upfront payments.....that is quite a lot of money for very little return (apart from the undying gratitude of FUM investors of course!). But Mr Barder the silver tongued negotiating demon will prove me wrong no doubt!!

Any 'educated' guesstimates on how much the FM71 6 month trial could cost?
